PART V

GIVING FIRM FOUNDATIONS TO THE CASTLE IN THE AIR!

After a good night's sleep Shivaay & Anika waved both the brothers off to Mumbai as Sahil had to be back to school on Monday. And Rudra had taken keen interest in business post Shivaay exit from OM. A proud moment for both his Bhaiya and Bhabhi. With brothers travelling back to their respective areas of work it was time to do some work themselves too.

Hence, Shivaay told Anika to get ready fast as they will be going to see some sights that he had finalised for their new restaurant business. Beaming with joy she hugged him, "Really Shivaay?"

But he with some tadi, gave back, "Well Shivaay Singh Oberoi never denies anything to his wife especially jab fayda uska ho."

Anika taking the sentence quite literally winked back,

" Reaaalllyyy Shivaay Singh Oberoi."

Fully aware where were the undercurrents of biwi's tone were leading to, he twicthed his brows, "Now?"

"Ofcourse!" & before he could react any further he was pulled into the bedroom by biwi's haughtiness leading to a win-win situation for both.

As the day further progressed they saw a few sites that Shivaay had zeroed down with some members. But none were coming up to the kind of their liking. Sometimes the places were too crowded, sometimes they were too secluded. Both seemed to be looking for a calm to mirror the current ambience of their respective minds. After all the restaurant would be a creative project and thus had to be the extension of their own current selves.

Tired, they took break for lunch in the beautiful city of Goa, an open restaurant that welcomed them with a beautiful scent of breeze. They further discussed what were they both looking for and came to a conclusion to see the last site as suggested by their broker.

This place was farther away, towards the north of Goa. But it had a lot of adavntages, one that it was closer to their home & it was away from the many commercialised beaches of Goa with a bonus of being on a hill top. So obviously, the view would be breathtakingly beautiful!

It was evening by the time they reached this place but with each passing mile they were sure that this should be their final destination. And as suggested indeed it was their final place as when the moved on location, the setting sun welcomed them with beautiful hues of yellow and orange.

They walked towards the horizon hand in hand to enjoy the mesmerising view. With the Sky changing from orange to a hundred shades of pink to a dark navy blue in the background, Anika rested her head on his shoulders for a silent "yes" for the place. Shivaay smiled as he intertwined her hands more strongly understanding the confirmation. Moving apart with the final cue given by his wife he asked the broker to get the papers ASAP for the work to start!

Happy that they had finally finalised one of the posh yet best places of Goa, he congratulated them on their choice and promised to be back with property papers tomorrow.

Days passed and the work started on their new restaurant. Both of them got equally busy in building their dream restaurant. Sometimes during the day, she sat admiring him from far, as he worked with the workers in tandem, giving them instructions where need be. He had immense knowledge about the construction and other important things, how they ought to be.

He was happy to see her beaming with happiness as she made bonds with the workers that had women too, helping them and motivating them at each stage. She used to love making them Tea for them to keep them going and Shivaay loved seeing her slowly get back to her own self. Side by side he also taught Anika how to use a laptop while demonstrating the activities happening online buzzing about this new place!

They had decided to built in some small rooms in the restaurant for night stay and thus the nights used to go in longing to be with each other by the Sea where they would talk about different Themes that could go well with the restaurant, what kind of food they would like to serve wanting to give their customers...

They both took out some time during the week to also research well on the other restaurants nearby. After all knowing about their competition was important too in this kind of business. Thus, they would go to different restaurants and tried different dishes to know the things they want and they didnt want in their own restaurant. A good things about both of them was they always had different opinions about everything and that helped them in lot many ways to know what they were ready to serve at their own place.

So a lot of evenings would go celebrating their small victories, once the work got over. They used to retire with wines and some more love by the beach side. Yes Wines! Anika with the some help from Shivaay had slowly started to develop the taste for it.😳

Very soon the day came when their dream stood attaining its full glory! Reminding them of the great days gone by, preparing every detail of it. This celebration time had both members from their respective families join their side. Om & Gauri with Rudra, Bhavya and Sahil had joined them with full gusto from Mumbai! But the most awaited moment came when Shivaay handed scissors for the ribbon cutting ceremony to Anika's Uncle and Aunty. Thanking them in his own way for getting his Anika back to life!

She smiled with tears in her eyes with this gesture but Shivaay signalled her to hold those as he didnt want any crying on this beautiful day of their lives. Celebrating what they had accomplished with the Aim to raise the bar a little higher in times to come he requested Uncle and Aunty to do the honours for their Dream's Grand Opening!
