PART IV

RAINBOWS AFTER RAINS

A new day met Shivaay and Anika with no more melancholy of rains. Looks like their constant companions were gone leaving them and the nature much prosperous. Cuddling more they opened their eyes, as one comforted the other with more Love just like Sunshine after the Rain. With the distances gone for good, far at the horizon through their windows they could notice rains had left them with something. Knowing what it could be, silently they walked out to see the brighter hues as a Rainbow welcomed them with a huge smile.

A new day had commenced as they sat together sipping their favourites Teas and Coffees. Talking about life in general. Ready to start their new innings in Goa, Together! And just then the bell rang and Anika gave a look to Shivaay, that who it could be at this hour in Goa. Shivaay shrugged his shoulders giving away the beat " Go look for Yourself." & off she went with a smile to recieve the visitors.

The visitors looked a bit in hurry and therefore came another jarring bell from their side, " Buzzz". Anika hurried down the stairs with Shivaay behind her. She opened the door to the Rainbows quite literally at her doorstep! She welcomed the visitors with her beautiful smile. One of them jumped to hug her with the same chirpiness in his voice, " Anika Didi!How are you?" & the other with open arms said, " Bhabhi! dekho hum aa gaye!" Still not guessed it guys? I m sure you have. The visitors were none other than Sahil and Rudra who had come to visit their favourite people in Goa!

After the exchange of all the hugs and kisses to their Bhaiya and Didi all sat down with much contentment. Anika was so proud of Saahil as he saw her conversing in english with everybody. But first things first, she gleamed with happiness turning to Shivaay, " This is a wonderful surprise Shivaay, Thank you!"

To which Rudra and Sahil both made a face, " We travelled the whole night to see you and yahan dekho Bhaiya takes all the credit."

Anika made a hawww face as all continued pulling her leg on the breakfast table. Sahil enjoyed his breakfast to the core as he seemed to be pretty much impressed with her didi's much improved cooking skills. Rudra on the other hand tossed away his diet plan owing to Bhabhi's great ensemble of all his favourite items on the table. While Anika as usual glanced at Shivaay thanking him for being the best teacher in the world with the patience to make her learn so beautifully. Not for him but for herself first and then others.

Away from Mumbai post the breakfast in the beautiful locales of Goa both Rudra and Sahil wanted to venture out immdiately. And thus, despite of all the protests from Anika to rest as they must have been tired after the night journey went down the drain! Hence, all boys ventured out shouting, Lets Go Goa! pushing Anika along in their frenzy.

The day went in sight seeing, different Churches & forts of Goa. Praying for everyone's good will and capturing memories for Instagram and Facebook. Saahil admired the freshness of the place along with the company of everyone after a long time owing to his boarding school. He was happy to see Anika glowing with happiness as Shivaay had briefed him about their life in Goa. She asked him about school and he contently told her about his life there. How he made new friends and how wonderfully he was been doing in studies, especially Maths. Learning things practically and theoritically as a good balance between them was the mantra at boarding school. And nothing was possible without his wonderful teachers who were his pillars of strength too.

Anika smiled listening to all this with tears of happiness in her eyes and immediately Shivaay was by her side cutely reprimanding Saahil this time. "You are making my wife cry, you will have to pay for this." making them laugh remembering Saahil's conversation with Shivaay once, as he haggled for him to stay at the OM after their wedding. So off Shivaay went with Saahil for a round of Ice cream as Rudra joined Anika.

While walking the Spice Plantations Rudra mentioned to his bhabhi, "Everybody misses you at home. I wont ask you to come back but I will say one thing. We love you a lot and want you to be just happy. Choti Maa sends lots of love your way." Anika understood his positive intentions hugged him and with some more tears in her eyes, " Give me some more time Rudra." Rudra nodded understanding her as he always did and then came Shivaay with Sahil towards them, " Whats with you two making my wife cry all the time. Pouring water on all my plans of keeping her happy!" And all had a hearty laugh as the staff paved their way for a buffet lunch to satisfy everybody's hunger in the scorching heat and after a long walk.

The Next destination to venture towards, was the city. While Shivaay picked up some neccessary items for home, Rudra shopped for very specific Goa items that both the fathers had asked him to get. Anika was seen buying few things for Sahil's journey back to school.

And the evening was welcomed by all at the beach with the sun setting at the horizon. This time Rudra and Sahil left the love birds to enjoy the sunset while they roamed the beach making new friends and clicking some more photos.

Shivaay took over her hand with the intention of walking her towards the sunset. Anika not seen a beach before was enthralled by its beauty. But what was more entralling was to share this experience first time with him. As the waves kissed their feet, Anika jumped at the coldness! Not wanting her to feel the cold anymore, he urged her to put her feet on his and walk towards the place where water met the sky. Anika denied, scared of loosing balance but Shivaay assured her that he wont let her fall, ever.

And so with a lot of encouragement from his side, she stepped onto his feet embracing him in her arms as all the love rolled by surrounding them like water. She said " Thank you" for a beautiful day. And he smiled putting her hair behind the ears as it disturbed his view. The view of seeing his Wife's gorgoeousness and happiness as the softer hues of the setting sun kissed her face. His eyebrow rising, feeling jealous of the sun making him block it by facing her for sometime.

Once in deep waters where the Seashore met the bay, they stood facing the sun, feeling the love that abounds them through the heat of every ray. Knowing and enjoying the beauty of the setting Sun that may go down at the end of the day, they held on to each other more strongly knowing that their flaring shades of love will always have to stay.
