So that he gets the much needed peaceful sleep. Because Aditya's need itself is peace.To feel wanted and loved. Him tying the daaga shows he will restore Zoya's faith in all the good qualities in the world and at the same time he too would start believing in them because of her.

Zoya asked for Yash's innocence and tied the dhaaga. The main thing I noticed is she didn't tie it tightly maybe because of her confidence that Yash is innocent. The moment she leaves, the dhaaga flies away and lands on Aditya. Aditya asks for a wish and them the dhaaga is tied tightly.

I really hope ur analysis comes true. This is what the cvs wanted to show us because until the affair is confirmed, I really don't think Aditya and Zoya are ever going to move on.
