Was Aditya really in love with Pooja?

All these while I was giving Aditya benefit of doubt regarding his belief on the affair. I thought maybe Aditya had met Yash couple of times and also knew that Yash and Pooja were good friends. But today's flashback scene revealed that Aditya and Yash met each other only for a second and may not have met with each other again.

So just because Pooja was in Mussoorie instead of Chennai and both of them were holding hands, Aditya believed they were having affair? Agreed she lied to him or may not have because even he was not supposed to be in Mussoorie, maybe she got some urgent work in Mussoorie and she didn't get time to inform Adi or she thought he would be in flight to Kathmandu. Those two holding each others hands also doesn't really prove they were having affair.

Today the way Adi reacted, the way he imagined her of getting Yash to bedroom and sleeping with him, it shows the real problem in their relationship. Love is not the only thing in a relationship. Trust, Respect, Understanding are also equally important. Aditya claims to love Pooja but his trust was not strong.

In this case, I won't be surprised if Zoya's trust in Yash wins over Aditya's distrust in Pooja. After all, we are always shown how much love Yash had for Zoya. What if later it turns out that Aditya only had misunderstanding and Pooja was faithful to him. She did write in her diary about falling in love with someone else but what if it was just an attraction and nothing else? What if she suppresed her feelings for Yash and remained loyal to Aditya till the end?

Today's episode actually showed Aditya little delusional.

Yeah it seems like Aditya had taken Pooja for granted and realized her worth only after her death that's why he is so depressed.

I think the problem with him is that he is traumatized by his past. That's why he even mentioned to his wife that if he hated anything in the world it's of course cheating. 😕 Just the fact that she was keeping a secret diary made him suspect her of hiding something. But he didn't insist because she was his best friend and he didn't think of getting cheated by her. He actually has trust issues because of his parents marriage life.

I think I understand him that he concluded very quickly of them having an affair just because they were holding hands. What I don't understand is that he isn't doing anything to know more about the affair. A guy who is dying everyday a little more should be the first one to investigate. Now that he knows they were knowing each other since three years he should do something but I guess he will just sit there and cry about how unfairly she cheated on him. 😕

I have my own analysis on Adi, he's haunted by his dad's EMA which resulted in wrecking their happy family image and him not trusting much in relationships anymore. Yes, Pooja tried to change it with her constant efforts for so many years but whenever its the testing time once again he gets haunted by his distrust in relationships. I actually want Yash-Pooja to be loyal to their resspective partners as Adi will be cured of his insecurities once he learns that he wasn't cheated while Zo will continue to believe in love, people ultimately learn to move on in life when their partners pass away but its not easy when they get cheated upon.

@Bold i think you already said it that she did fell for someone. She went with it or No we cannot say anything about it. But I think Adi's POV is clear Pooja has given her reasons to disbelieve, isn't she the one who said No one shares her all secrets with anyone. Holding hands doesn't seem a big thing but while dying it means. She invested in YAsh's Company, also he is not delusional the problem is that he has a history of cheating in the family he has grown up with that insecurity and the levels he thought today are just the extremities that might come in any male's mind when he considers that his spouse was cheating.

He is not bad at heart just badly disturbed by the incidents. See he said that I guess my whole life was a LIE. and as for YAsh we never saw YAsh side of Story We are watching everything from Zoya's POV she has the habit of seeing the positive in everything and nothing is bad. If you remember the scene when she found the ring and she took it to Yash as soon as YAsh saw the Ring his face looked drenched as if he got caught but in her Happiness she didn't see it as well the size was not her's but she came up with an explanation for it as well.

Yep. That's why I don't understand him half of the times. Any reasonable person would certainly have doubts no matter how much he trusts his wife. But he isn't doing anything to clear up the things, instead he is just using it to fill himself up with anger and hatred which I don't understand.

The same question we can ask for Pooja too.

Did she really love Aditya ??? Coz IMO a person cannot love 2 men at the same time equally.

Either one is love and the other one attraction / infatuation.

The fact that Pooja wrote in her diary tht she started falling in love with the "stranger" ( we assume its Yash ) , means tht she was falling out of love with Aditya. She could not have loved both guys equally; one was her husband, one was her lover.

Why didnt Pooja trust Aditya enough to discuss what was in her heart and what was bothering her even though she knew how much Aditya would hate it and even she felt guilty abt wht she was doing.

I think both Aditya and Pooja misunderstood friendship for love somehow...both were young, they were best friends even in school, so they thought they were in love, but I feel they were not.

And what confuses me abt Aditya is tht instead of trying to figure out what really happened, he hides behind a mask of agression, hatred and what not and vents it on the wrong person.

I feel deep down Aditya is scared for the answer if he will dig into the matter...now chances are 50/50 although he has made up his mind abt the cheating

Dtz d reason i like Zoya more. She trusts Yash so much dt i too want her trust to win. She sees goodness in everybody, she is such a pure soul.

As others hv said, coz of Adi's past d way he thinks is diff. Moreover, he was a frnd of Pooja, i don't think he took up d mantle of a husband.. .. may be even dis was a way of escaping his sadness. .. .he wanted somebody to babysit him.

PS: I still don't get how he trusts Zoya more than Pooja, with whom he was since childhood. May be Zoya is his soul mate.
