Shah Rukh Khan's Don series is one of the
most loved franchises in Bollywood. The first
Don was released in the year 2006 and Don
2 hit the screens in 2011. It's been seven
years the last Don was released and people
can't wait for the third instalment. Fans have
been tweeting to filmmaker Farhan Akhtar
to make Don 3 and many rumours have also
started about the same.
A few weeks back, it was said that Farhan
has locked the script of SRK starrer and
reportedly the female lead Priyanka Chopra
won't be a part of it. Talking about it, a
source stated to a leading daily, "The
storyline is such that it doesn't need
Priyanka's character. It's likely to have a new
cast, which will be locked soon."
Farhan refuted all the reports related to Don
3 by tweeting, "Request those who conjure
up news about #Don3 without any fact
checking to please refrain. It is not fair to
raise expectations of the film's fanbase via
false news."
We got our hands on a quote of Priyanka
from a 2014 interview, where she said that
no one play Junglee Billi better than her. She
said, "First of all, I was talking about myself.
I've been a part of many 100 crore
successes like Krrish, Don 2, Krrish 3,
Agneepath, Barfi but other than Barfi, I can't
take the credit for the rest. I cannot say that
Krrish 3 or Don 2 is a Priyanka Chopra film
even though nobody can play a better
Junglee Billi than me! I'm a part of these film
a very important partbut you can't give
me complete credit for them."
