Rain flashback ka kya funda tha?

Okay, so I try to look for stuff in the flashback as to why the hell are they showing it and what's the meaning if any in those scenes because otherwise it is totally useless!!

At first I was wondering that Yash does not like the rain but Zo does. Pooja likes the rain but Adi does not. Yaha toh parallel Adi and Yash ka hua. What kind of connection is that?

Watched it again and realized what Yash is telling Zo. She will get sick by evening if she gets drenched in the rain and Yash never said he does not like the rain. Adi also says that he falls sick for 5 days if he gets drenched even for 5 min as well. Not everyone falls sick on getting drenched - I don't.

Basically, in donon ki beemariyaan bhi ek hai yaar - strawberry allergy and rain se bhi problem.

Am I reading too much into it or did you guys see the same thing? Because agar parallel nahitoh flashbacks suck big time!

yes I noticed the exact same thing!! At first I was like, what the heck ...zo likes rain and adi doesn't ..well in the real world that's most likely ..but in fictional love stories they always have clichd signs!! ..but then the falling sick part made be realize that OK the similarity here was that both fall sick when wet ..and then my mind went to a potential future scene where both are stuck in a storm drenched and soaked ..and then both land up stranded ...having to rent the only available single room at a hotel ..and then both sneezing and warming each other under a blanket by the fire!!! ..

Waise bhi Zo kuch bhi dekhti hai toh Yash ki yaad usey automatically aa hi jati hai

In the precap we see Adi rushing towards Zo and she raising her hand. Someone posted after that ki with our luck Zo would be seeing her mahaan Yash come to save her. That TM was so right though I could not stop laughing then!

I like your imagination Vandana. Especially the warming themselves under the blanket part. Haha.
