Karan johar is bashed for launching these 2?

these 2 get so much hate (online only though) because they belong to filmy khandan. but one can't deny their growth as actors and established them selves in bollywood as big stars

not only cinema that proves their acting ability but also brings millions to cinemas

much credit has to be given to both for doing really well and leading in their generation

Dude the truth is, he launched them both in a crappy movie like SOTY.

if he had made a great film giving them great characters in which they could truly shine I'm sure they wouldn't get bashed that much. SOTY was abt skin show, swag and attitude n ppl liked it partially but where was the content??

A bad film gets u the talking. well on the whole i don't think it doesn't mattter as long as they r making big bucks for their distributors and producers

seriously...Alia and Varun are just amazing and versatile actors...I don't know why KJo is bashed for launching these too...Even Sid is showing growth as an actor but uska time kharab hai that nothing seems to be working for him.

even that movie played to bollywood stereotypes. something we would have loved 20 years ago from now. but their screen presence were noted and appreciated too. public in general loves them from soty hence that film did tremendously well.

SOTY was a while back...I understood the bashing that time..I myself gave gaalis to KJo😆...but both Alia and Varun have proven that they are good actors...so why even now?😕

i m not talking abt this forum so i won't consider it..

what I have seen on social media like insta facebook twitter etc that johar has received the biggest hate for SOTY because it was simply crap sure the film was a success..but sometimes a bad movie makes more noise than the good ones. even though alia and varun proved themselves they r continued to be labelled as SOTY stars on several occasions. Worse KJO keeps planning events in some way or other n brings the trio back again which again brings the memories of that horrendous film back in theatres..

now if ur going to launch people in such a lousy product, ur ultimately getting everything wrong. Haven't u understood the recent hate ishaan khattar and jhanvi kapoor received...the nepotism thing it all started from there. And somewhere down the line Alia n Varun shall always be reminded of KJO's proteges first and superstars later..that's the general norm.

too bad his association with SRK also gone sour, he was not making great films with him anyway...KANK n MNIK were both mediocre so he decided to go completely different with SOTY
