I guess the purpose of checking in is to allow for the voting to be displayed as a percentage and not the number of votes. I guess it's fair in the sense that at least it gives contestants who may not get the numbers to vote, a more even playing field.

I guess with the check-in, what I was alluding to was that they could potentially have sign in at the beginning of the episode and then count the votes for people that sticked around...lots of different ideas I can come up with...they just need to take me as creative or judge...I'll do better job than Monali and Colors I promise. 😳😆
But on a serious note, I totally agree that some of those earlier rounds were really unfair - duet selection too! How does it make sense for one's fate to be r eliant on a stranger!
Of course duels took the comp size to half and for some due to the difference of a perfect or less they went out! Other low scorers stayed cuz they won to someone with a score still slightly lower than them.
