Who eats such food?🤢 Chi!!!
This lady needs to go to an asylum. You can eat enough healthy without eating soups and salads. Besdies, eating soups and salads all the time isnt healthy. Make a multigrain roti and a oil free sabzi or use olive oil. Never heard of a microwave?

First of all after whole mirchi fiasco at popatlal's house why didn't jetha and his family go to restaurant to eat dinner?
They could have got to eat tasty food than stupid salad by anjali

Anjali is one psycho woman
She serves taarak everyday with Karele ka aur lauki ka juice in morning packs salad in lunch and in dinner most of the times it's some kind of soup
How is taarak even surviving?
Even dietitians don't ask a person to eat soup and salad all the time to remain healthy

I don't know much about dieting but I am sure dieting doesn't mean having only salad,soup,karele ka juice or lauki ka juice.

This type of dieting is never prescribed. She never goes beyond soups and salads. Never heard her serving oats, sprouted moong or green vegetables. Only karela. With this kind of dieting one will be susceptible to various diseases.
Not all Indian food are bad for health. Some are extremely goos and beneficial. Dhokla for example. Replace regular oil with olive oil and its absolutely healthy. Its mostly besan.

I have lost 6 kilos of weight in six months and I never had salads or soups as the main course.

OT: the writers as usual go overboard in trying to extract comic situations out of Anjali's obsession for diet food. It doesn't make sense at all like most of things happening in GD 😆

Anjali needs some other occupation desperately. Actually all ladies in GD need to break away and do something else. Par yeh kabhi bhi hoga nahi

@ Minion and artifacts,
A diet chart can be planned by a dietician or your doc only. Eveery person has different issues and have different eating habits. You can check your BMI to know if you arr overweight before starting anything. I was diagnosed with PCOS after which my doc advised me to go on a diet.

1) Exercise has no substitute. You need to work out. Walking worked for me and because I was just too overweight to try skipping . So,I continued with walking and still doing it. I walk for 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins in the evening. I also do some yoga to keep myself calm.

2) Never miss your meal. Eat at one time only. Drink plenty of water. Never neglect your breakfast. I eat whole wheat bread/ sprouted moong or boiled chickpeas/ eggs/ milk/ fruits/oats etc as morning breakfast. For lunch I take dal/ chawal/ vegetables/ paneer or fish. Dinner should be as simple . I take homemade soup followed by multi grain roti and sabzi. I have my dinner early so I don't go to sleep immediately

3) Use less oil whie cooking. Its easy actually. Boil/ microwave your veggies before cooking. Use good quality non stick cook ware. I dont take ghee or butter also. However,I use low fat butter for breakfast. I dont take white sugar or I take very less.

4) Tea/ coffee should be restricted. Have green tea or have tea/ coffee twice only

5) Results will take time. For me almost nothing changed in the first month.

the best way to lose weight is cut back on sugar in tea/coffee and avoid fried stuffYou can eat whatever you feel like, but eat in moderation and make sure you burn those extra calories either by walking daily or exercise at least 3 times a week. ANd btw there is no research that shows Karela jucie is good for health,. Infact excessive juice can damage your kidney.

Karela is not the only vegetable in the world. Mehta is not even diabetic.
Never saw her serving normal food. She cooks some great dishes when Mehta gifts her something but in general she doesn't even cook general dal, roti, sabzi. Now, what is wrong with dal? Its always salad or fresh cut fruits for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Who does that? She is serving the same nonsense three timss a day. No dietician suggest this.

Even filmstars and athletes eat better than this. Worst still is that Mehta is still bulky.😆



Instead of dietician, Anjali could have been just a poor cook but no woman here cannot be bad cook so she is just brilliant. If I were Mwhta I would have divorced her by now. Pathetic woman.
