Sumeir's mom questioning her character was the last nail in the coffin. Marriage shld have been called off then

I was waiting for her to say no at any point which you have mentioned above but she has not till now:((Her continuously ranting of "Shaadi ussi se karungi jo samjhega mujhe aur main jaisi hoon vaise hi mujhe accept karega" seeing that she should have said no when that dress fiasco happened:(( She should have take a stand for herself at any point but alas🤢🤢

Very true and Vivaan even said as much in the last episode.

Considering all the shenanigans/tantrums that go on in Indian weddings and the need to address them with practicality and also considering the hyper nature of Meera's mother for whom she cares so much- she should have called off the wedding post the character questioning. She should have spoken with the family regarding this and reflected upon every other incident you have mentioned. Character questioning was an unpardonable excuse. No one moves on as if nothing happened the way this family did.

Are those points in order of how it was shown in the show? Then from the first one - as Anjali said disgracing her mother shouldv been the final blow. Idk why her mother s soo desperate
