This is exactly what I was thinking! Its so obvious that the depth of emotions Aditya is already showing her, will only grow with fervor and intensity as their relationship evolves. Just like the colour of her mehndi!

offcourse! We know how Adi is.. the day he falls in love with Zoya.. there will be bepannah mohobbat from his side.. he is very intense as a person.. and speaks out aloud what he thinks.. his love will also speak the same
All the flash backs carry a meaning though many in the forum are so irritated to see the flashbacks.
But I feel that there is meaning in every flashback that connects to how opposite it will be with Adi. So here, the Mehendi was colorless. We all know the belief on the dark red mehendi's on a bride's hand. It means the love the hubby has will run deep as well. That's what the flashback meant.
I think the mehendi scene is deffinate symbolism and foreshadowing for aditya's love for zoya. Yash's mehendi did not leave it's mark...and when aditya's name was written the color came out dark. It was creative's way of saying that aditya's love for Zoya will be much stronger and truer than yash's love for zoya.
When Adi says... 'Abhi toh sirf Mehndi hua hai, Shadi abhi baaki hai'... and they had that echoing sound with the dialogue... I was thinking that it meant something more than just the words...
I was thinking that Zoya ke haathon par to Adi ka naam likha hai... And while pulling her (infact handling her) thodi si mehndi Adi ke haathon par lag gaya ho... which they will both realize later, casually for Adi and dramatically for Zoya(with Yash's mom)...and they both do not realize the significance and it's importance... while we all are coyly watching them and giggling, completely aware of things that are to come between...
All this when Adi's 'Abhi toh sirf Mehndi hua hai, Shadi abhi baaki hai' came in echoed voice... Or maybe the words meant just those, the words... and nothing more...
