Avni growled for the fifth time, throwing the seventh dress on the bed "Nothing fits anymore" she huffed
"Avni, why are you crying" asked Neil, wiping away her tears
"Im fat, my ankles are swollen, nothing fits, youre probably just gonna find someone skinnier and preetier"
Neil cupped her cheeks and sat her down
"You are beautiful, even more so now youre pregnant with our baby, I love you, I will never want anyone else"
"I got you some things, maternity wear"
Avni smiled greatfully and looked through the bag
"So you still want me" she asked "even like this"
Neil kissed her forehead "I want you even more now "
"Liar" she spoke, looking down
Neil tipped her head up, "I would never lie to you"
Avni smiled "Okay, I believe you"
Neil sat her back against the bed and began to massage her feet, he rubbed his thumbs at the arch of her feet, making spirals, she let out a breathy sigh and closed her eyes
"Youre so good to me Neil, thank you"
Neil smiled "No need to thank me, its my job as a husband and a to be father"
Avni opened her arms "Come here"
Neil edged closer and hugged her
He pulled back as Avni hissed
"This baby kicks hard"
Neil put his hand on Avni's stomach
"Wow" he said in awe as he felt the baby kick
Avni smiled at the dazed look on Neil's face "He only does that when youre around"
Neil rested his cheek on her stomach "I know youre excited to see papa but you have to stop kicking because it hurts mama"
Tears sprung to Avni's eyes and she smiled
"You know when youre a big boy, im gonna take you to my work, show you where I work"
Neil sat up, keeping his hand on her stomach he smiled and sang

Ghar mein laa doon" Neil looked up to see Avni had fallen asleep, he pulled the blanket up on her and kissed her forehead
It was about 3am in the morning when Avni nudged Neil awake "hm" he groaned
"Neil, I want pakoras"
He sighed and sat up rubbing his eyes "I cant wait till these cravings of yours are over"
Avni pouted, crossing her arms "Wel if youre gonna be like that then fine"
Neil walked back around to her "Baby please dont be sad, I was only joking"
Avni ignored him
"You know im quite hungry to"
Her eyes lit up "You are"
He nodded "Now come on"
Avni got up and followed Neil out
Neil helped Avni out as they arrived at the food cart
"Bhai sab, bhai sab please, my wife is pregnant, can she just have some pakoras before you close"
The man agreed and began to make some, Neil payed him some money and sat down with Avni
The man brought it over and Avni thanked him
Avni wiggled around on the seat
Neil looked up "Are you comfy"
She shook her head
Neil helped her up and sat her on his lap
"Now" he asked
"Yeah" she smiled and bit into a pakora
She held it out to him, feeding him
Not to long after she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder
Neil picked her up
"I can walk" she yawned
"Its okay"
Neil got the food cart owner to open the car door and Neil slipped her inside
He thanked him before getting in and driving off
Neil carried Avni to bed and led her down
Lying next to her, he switched off his alarm for the morning
He didnt want to wake her
He snuggled closer to her and led a hand on her stomach, feeling a kick he chuckled
"Shh, youll wake your mama up"
Neil soon fell asleep next to Avni
It was the next morning when Avni awoke to Neil holding breakfast out to her
She took it greatfully and looked up at him
"Are you still going to be this nice when the baby comes"
Neil laughed "ill be nicer"
Avni smiled "I love you"
Neil sat next to her "I love you both"
