Story was quite unique.
Anushka did not succumb to pressure and accept reciprocate his love. She remained his friend only.
That is what I liked about the film.
But they ruined the ending , it felt like just because she rejected ranbir , god gave her cancer or something like that.
She should not have got cancer. period. felt like they did not know how to show 2 people as just friends and had to kill one of them .
Also it was really not fair to Aishwarya rai's character as well. She genuinly liked ranbir , but he just broke her heart because of his idiotic complex mental issues.
The movie really had potential. One sided love and friendship clash was quite different.
Execution was not good.
Also starting i donno what was the need for that kissing scene.. it was so out of the blue and not needed in the film.
1st half I found anushka's character quite irritating and 2nd falf ranbir's character was quite irritating.
Only good thing was Ash.
