I think here it's the emotional attachment to the product or let's say the people behind the product. The characters and the actors mostly.People love Avni and Neil and the rest of the cast. People love Zain and Aditi. So they are emotionally invested. They dont want to the show to go off air so stating these tricks to retain TRP!But as someone in a commercial field, I can vouch that a good "product" or "Service" is what is needed to achieve profit. That is not in the hands of the consumer or the end user, but the hands of the manufactures or marketers. If your product is good, end uses will continue to support it. If it's not, they will reject it.The team need to "Re-focus" and think "How do we get back our end users? What did they like before and how can we give them that same thing again?" IF they do that, maybe the audience will return. It has happened before, it can happen again.Yes we are emotionally invested, but we also need to be rational if we want this show to survive and also thrive!
