Avni never valued Neil. ..she never valued his love. So why would she think his decision of move on will effect her.

When Avni made a crank call to Khanna house and Bebe, who didn't know that Avni was on the other side of the phone,told her that Neil's heart only belongs to his wife Avni or when in the holi party Neil told her that how he has been waiting to see just a glimpse of her, Avni was not surprised to hear that Neil has been leaving a lone life.

Then whenever she had a conversation with Sunehri regarding Neil, she only mentioned how she wanted Neil and family to be safe by staying away from him. Never heard her saying something like that she wanted Neil to move on and marry again. She wanted Neil to live a
peaceful life with family only and not with any other girl.

Also the video she left before faking her death, in that video she asked Neil to always keep smiling whenever he remembers her and asked Ali
to take care of Neil. She didn't take any promise from Neil that he will start his life afresh by marrying again.

Keeping in mind these things, I have concluded that Avni never wanted or expected and she will never want or expect Neil to forget her and move on in his life

Agree with your post , deep down Avni doesn't want Neil to have moved on she will not want to see him with someone else despite what she said .

I think honestly no one wants their loved one to move on from them. Forget them and get on with life with someone else! But it happens all the time. Be it if the person dies, or they break up, divorce etc.

Depending on the depth of the feelings, the length of the relationship, the strength of the commitment, the moving on will be harder and will hurt a lot more. For both parties. Not just the one leaving, or the one left behind.

Having said that, I think rationally Avni might have expected Neil to move on. But emotionally I don't think she wanted that, or even thought too much about what faking her death and leaving his life would ultimately mean? How long is a man supposed to grieve? Yes he moved on from Juhi. The difference here was that he never loved Juhi the way he loved Avni. His relationship with Avni was on another level. They had this soul connection. He didn't have that with Juhi. I don't think he understood what love truly was till he fell in love with Avni! Also, that collage Neil was pretty much a kid. Avni's Neil was a man. Still a boy in some ways, but a responsible man too. It's like comparing apples with pears.

So the fact remains, Avni might have in her rational mind accepted that Neil could move on. If not for himself then for his family. Like he did during Rhea times when he agreed to an arranged marriage. But an unmarried guy marrying and a widower marrying are not the same thing. For Neil moving on was not an option because he knew unlike during Rhea, that he can't commit to someone in that way again. Not when he was still in love with his wife. There was no issue of falling out of love with her either. He knew it won't happen. This Neil unlike the Juhi time Neil knows you can't commit to someone for marriage when there are no feelings involved. Because he was already married once, to someone he was madly in love with.

Avni can think to herself that she would have accepted if Neil moved on. But the truth is when confronted with it, she does not want it. That much was clear when she instantly denied it when Neil accused her of wanting him to accept Mithali's proposal! In fact it was in that moment she broke and hugged Neil saying, Nahi Neil Main Aisa Bilkul Bhi Nahi Chaha Thi Thi! THAT was the truth.
