YE LAMHA JO THEHRA HAI
Raman was working in his room when his mother entered the room with a glass of milk . She walked to him and passed the glass to him ,he saw his mother and spoke " arey ma you hadn't slept yet ,why did you stressed yourself I would have taken myself ".
T- don't pretend as you care for me somuch .
R- I really do ma ,why are you saying so .
T- then what should I say ,how many times I had asked you for marriage ,every time you denies ,ye bhi koi gal hai . kya zindagi bhar aise hi akele rahega , main chain se mar bhi nahi paaungi .
R- ohh ma ,its too much filmy but you know na I don't believe in marriage after shagun's betrayal .mujhe nahi karni hai shaadi vaadi .
T- till when you will cry for that shagun's betrayal ,arey use tujhse shaadi nahi karni thi to nahi ki ,jaane de use , she must be living her life happily then why you are ruining your life ,you also marry and live a happy life .
R- what's the guarantee that the other girl will nice girl .
T- and why do you think that every girl is like shagun ,look around yourself ,all are living a happy married life ,only you are ruining your life in that cheater shagun's memory.
R- what do you wanna say .
T- few days back ,my friend dolly introduce me to a lady madhvi iyer. She is a nice lady , their family is also good , her daughter ishita is very beautiful and nice girl ,meet her once may be you would like her .
R- I knew it ,that you must have seen some girl that's why you are talking like this .

R- but promise me even if I meet her , you will not pressurize me to marry her .
T- ok promise ,to should I tell her mother .

Listening to this toshiji become happy and went from there . On the other hand Ishita's mother was also busy in convincing her to meet Raman.
M- ishu kanna he is a nice boy ,dolly aunty was praising him much .

M- but why you don't want to marry ,at least told me the reason ,your studies are over ,you had started your job too now get married and let us be free .
I- you mean to say that I m burden on you .
M- not at all ,I mean to say that getting you married and seeing you settled in life is also one of our responsibility . We cannot be tension free or say will get free from our responsibilities till we will see you settled in life ,I know you wanna live your life alone but at least think about us . relatives and friends had started asking about your marriage.
I- ok tell me ,what I have to do .
M- I have chosen this boy for you and want you to meet him .
I- ok ,if you insist I will meet him but promise me you will not force me for marriage.

Saying so amma went from there keeping Raman's photograph ,ishita didn't bother to see it and continued her work ,after much time when she was going to sleep ,his pic fell in front of her ,she picked the pic and spoke looking to it " Not bad though I will not marry you but milna to padega as I had promised to amma ".
Saying so she kept his pic in her bag and went to sleep . Next day toshiji too gave Ishita's picture to Raman and told him that she will inform about the time and place of meeting after talking to Mrs iyer . Raman nodded and went to office ,at afternoon toshiji called Raman ,and amma called ishita both the mothers inform ishra about the time and places of their meeting . Both agreed and assured their mother that they will go and meet each other .
At evening Raman went to CCD where he was about to meet ishita . He reached on time but saw nobody was waiting for him ,he settled in the table that's when he noticed ishita entering the place ,she scanned the place and walked directly to him . He saw her and liked her from the first sight ,she too liked his look . Both greeted each other and settled in their chair ,ordered Cappuccino for themselves ,then both remained silent for sometimes . Then Raman started talking ,they at first exchanged their names ,qualifications, then jobs ,dreams ,likes and dislikes . In first few minutes itself they had cleared that they had just come to meet and this meeting doesn't means that they are ready for marriage and both happily agreed to each other . They talked for sometimes and really liked their companies ,they decided to meet again before deciding anything .
Both bid adieu to each other and went to their house ,their mother's ask for their decision and both told to wait for sometimes . Both the mothers got happy as they got hope because their kids didn't denied straight like earlier . On the other hand ishra were smiling unlike their self ,they are quite happy meeting each other and was thinking about other . Next day also they meet this time they went to meet each other dressing bit nicely ,checking if they are looking good or not . They met ,had their coffee ,talked some more about each other ,family parents and returned home ,they had exchanged phone number too and talked over phone also .
Slowly unknown to themselves both came closer ,now their most of the times spends in talking to each other over phone ,they eagerly wait for evening to meet and night so that they can talk anything and everything ending their night ,bidding good night to each other . Slowly both felt the difference in themselves and Raman decided to talk to ishita .He was eagerly waiting for evening and finally the time came ,he booked a roof top restaurant for themselves and went to pick ishita . Both reached to the restaurant and she was surprised to see the arrangements and asked if something special is there . He nodded and told that he will tell the reason shortly . ishita smiled and both started talking normally while Raman was looking at her but was lost in his thoughts that how his mind has changed and now he think only about her and imagine her everywhere .

Ishita noticed that he is not responding to her and she flashed her hand in front of him breaking his trance ,he smiled looking to her and she asked " what ".
He shook his head negatively and smacked himself mentally for behaving like a teenager .

That's when the music started and he asked her hand for dance ,she happily gave her hands on his and both started swaying with the slow music .

Raman pulled her closer by waist while she too rested her head on his chest holding his shoulder and both got lost in the moment.

Soon the song ended and they parted unwillingly . The waiter showed up with champagne ,she informed him " I don't drink Raman " .
R- I knew it ,its a fruit champagne .have it .
Saying so he poured the drink in two classes and passed to her . She took it and both started sipping it slowly . After that Raman held Ishita's hand ,though she was assuming that may be he is going to confess but her heartbeat increased when he held her hand while her eyes automatically got closed feeling his touch . He pressed her hand while she shivered due to nervousness. Raman settled beside her and asked concerned " ishita are you ok ".
I- humm .
R- should we continue .
I- humm .
R- can I hold your hand ,are you comfortable .
I- humm .
He held her hand happily and spoke
" you know ishita you are not first girl in my life ,before you I had a girlfriend name shagun ,we were college mates ,I love her a lot but when I went abroad for further studies . we were in touch but slowly she stopped talking to me , one day I called her and a man picked the call . I was surprised to listen a male voice ,asked who is he and came to know that he is her boyfriend ,I was shocked and insisted to talk to her as I wanted to confirm and soon she confirmed . My heart broke and I decided not to marry considering all the girl are cheater . even I don't wanted to meet you also but met because of ma , she was behind my marriage . ".
Ishita smiled meekly listening to him while he continued " ishita now after meeting you I had started enjoying my life again , I want to talk to you always ,wanna see you without blinking my eyes . I don't know what your decision will be but want to express my feeling towards you ."
Ishita saw him with questioning eyes ,taking a deep breath ,he took her both hand in his and spoke " I love you ishita and want to marry you ,will you ."
Her eyes become moist ,she took out a picture from her purse and showed him ,he saw it surprisingly and asked " who is he ".
I- he was my classmate in college , Nishant . I loved him crazily ,tried to confess my love many times but couldn't as I was scared . our college ended and we parted ,he went somewhere else for further studies and we never meet or talked about college but still I was having hope that I will get my love that's why I never wanted to meet you but came to meet for my parents ,though I had decided to deny for the marriage after first meeting itself but don't know what happened I felt a pull towards you and we started meeting .Nishant was long forgotten and now its only you ."
Till now he was nervous but smiled fully between his tears listening to her ,he saw her with questioning eyes while she nodded happily and spoke " yes I do ,l agree to marry you Raman because I too in hopelessly ,insanely in love with you ".
Both smiled fully looking deep into each other eyes while happy tears roll down from both pair of eyes ,they hugged each other tightly confessing their love again .
