Arranging marriage with friend's son is not a wrong thing to do but he should have given some time to his daughters to adjust in a new country, new surroundings, etc. Just because she can speak hindi fluently and may be knew how to cook roti, dal, chawal, sabzi that doesn't mean she can easily adjust in an orthodox family.

He was literally behaving as if he is under watch by MI6 so yeah must be surely an illegal because his body language was always full of paranoia. I wouldnt be surprised if he was under declaring his taxes in his mom and pop grocery store and renting its hidden basement full of students. I guess once the heat turned up he decided to bail and close shop and take off to India. I wouldn't be surprised he was trying to pull off some fraud marriage with Kuljeet. 😆

Even I have the same question. Amrish Puri settled in UK for so many years, his daughters were almost English and then he expects to turn desi and forget videsi culture in a jiffy.😆

90s desis settled abroad summed up in a nutshell. Not just Indians but Pakistanis too and then expected their English educated children with different mentality to marry gaon ki gori / Gora so that they can hold on to their culture.
