Excellent performances overlooked because movie was not upto the mark.

Generally we have great cinematic pieces
flopping due to them lacking typical
masala entertainment, and the great
acting performances in them being ignored at
Award Shows but still they gather internet
cult following.

And than there are excellent performances in
movies which are not that good or even
terrible, which tend to get ignored both in awards
and internet cult.

The likes of Akshay Kumar in Brothers, Priyanka
in WYR, Ajay Devagn in
Main aisa hi hoon, Farhan Akhtar in SKSE
and so on.


My personal favorite was the tour de force
performance by Randeep Hooda in DLKK.
It was a phenomenal performance, sadly stuck
in an average movie(although movie had
potential to be cult classic).

srk in swadesh.he deserved NA.the movie should have done better.
when the old lady sent him to collect money to actually teach him some
humble lessons n when he went to fetch the rents bt seeing the dire
poverty ended up giving some from his pocket were so touching.
the best one was the mineral water bottle scene.how the honest little
boy ran in the platform to return him his change n how he no longer
hesitated to drink ordinary water brings tears.at times i wonder do ppl
really fail to see small scenes which has greater lessons hidden in them?
why a stupid dtph worked bt not beautiful swadesh?😕

Why people naming swades? I mean the tm means the movies that were not upto the mark or not good, swades is a masterpiece imo, very underrated both performance of srk and the movie. There is something in almost every scene of that movie ⭐️

i named swadesh as i heard it flopped.n ppl always tell a flop means ppl
did not find it upto the mark for some reasons.

Right, i mean even the simplest of scenes leave such a mark, i wonder y did it flop? Like a scene when mohan comes to meet his kaveri amma and she becomes emotionally overwhelmed, that scene was so realistic and so simple yet it brought tears of joy in my eyes too. I usually don't cry watching a movie but this one was an exception! Another one is lootera.😳
