"Good morning sir..!" The employees greeted him, once he entered in his office. Giving them a nod, he proceed towards his cabin while discussing his schedule with his manager. "I'll look after the document later, you may leave now." He ordered taking sit on the leather chair.
"Okay sir." Following boss's order, the man turned to leave when he heard his boss saying, "Mishra, send Annika to my cabin."
"Sir, she hasn't arrived yet." Mishra informed.
"I knew it..!" He said under his breath which wasn't audible to others. "Okay. Once she reached.. Send her..!"
"Sure sir."
Another hour passed when Annika barged in his cabin running, "You called me?" She huffed.
He was busy in his laptop, but seeing her incivility, he fumed, he closed the laptop saying, "Out..!"
"Excuse me?!" She exclaimed.
"I said out." Pushing his chair back, he gets up from it saying, "Miss Annika.." He paused and take a look at her, he noticed the pinch of vermilion and sacred black thread (mangalsutra) around her neck. "Oops.. My mistake.. MRS ANNIKA." Emphasis her name, he smirked at her. "First of all.. You're one hour late."
"... And you know the reason Mr Oberoi." She gritted.
"But I don't give a damn..!" He said dropping the file on the table. "This office will never obey your rules, it has its own time and like others you have to maintain it. Do you get me?" He asked sarcastically.
"Sorry." She mouthed, rolling her eyes.
"You should be..! Anyways.. And one more thing, it's not your husband's office or cabin that you entered without a knock. Shall I teach you manners now?" He reminded her.
"If you have problems with me then why aren't you fired me yet?" She asked crossing her arms against her chest. "And one more thing.. Isn't it my husband's office? Is it so Mr Oberoi..?" She smirked and taking a step ahead at him, she reminded, "I guess, you forgot.. We're married and lawfully you are my husband. Remember our so called CONTRACT MARRIAGE."
Shivaay fumed remembering their past encounters, he grabbed her shoulder tightly, "I remembered everything Annika, every single thing. But you don't forget.. I own you. So, unless you're returning the investment, you can't take your step back from this contract..!" He pushed her and left his cabin fuming.
