She never explicitly declared her love towards him because her love is not the love which most commonly we all know.

I may be wrong but the respect both have for each other is total and solid. So Sahil will find out the truth behind this. Vedika too will feel deeply when she is by herself. We've got to wait to see how it unfolds.

Also I think Vedika is addressed as ji because of respect and nothing wrong in continuing with it even after being in love. ( I am reminded of Master ji and Lajo ji...very old serial).

Respect will not go... But somewhere he need to realize that she is not perfect no one is. She did a blunder with the marriage and they both need to come to terms with that.

To be in a marriage they need to be equal partners. So Sahil needs to get there and Vedika needs to see that he is not going anywhere and he cannot stay apart from her.
