IN an earlier show that I watched, the heroine walls her emotions by pulling up and clutching on to her ghoongat.
Given that AKAJS is a really well narrated and thought out show, had wondered if the CVs made Vedika react. And they did too. The way Vedika was pulling her saree close to her body was signifying how much she is walling herself. There is a lot of guilt in deceiving Sahil but she is also too vulnerable. Even in the earlier occasions, be it the first time Sahil declared his love, she needed a cold shower. Subsequently in the valentines day she had hugged herself to self soothe. This again happened more in the Holi episode where she feels something but says something else in front of the mirror. She seems to be bringing up the wall to ensure that she does not relate her love to romantic love.
Yesterday, she was in tatters during the phere. Why was she crying and holding on to the saree so tightly? Maybe it is really hitting her how close she is to totally loosing Sahil and she is neither able to take that nor accept his love. Wondered why the Mental telepathy was missing... but I felt it was shown subtly yesterday. In Vedika's marriage with Gautam it was Sahil's prayers that made Vedika get up from the mandap and here it is Vedika's longing and pain that made the ghoongat fly and reveal Nidhi. Not even a small smile in her face because, no one could deny that she was in a lot of pain seeing Sahil married. She knew at her heart that she was doing something terribly wrong to Sahil, separating herself from Sahil is his death sentence. But, her brain is telling her a different story. She also knows that a child and the age are immaterial to them... but she is not yet ready to face it. Hopefully she will face it when she sees Sahil's happiness turn to something else... In the last 3 episodes we have seen an ecstatic Sahil, now we will should ideally see a Sahil that will self destruct. He would not be able to bear that his Vedika ji deceived him.. atleast not for a few days.
Actually after this stupid marriage (sorry but I am attached to this show and tend to take this show a tad too personal 😆) I checked out a bit of Indian law and realized that this is trickery on Sahil and so this marriage is non existent. But ITV is a business and money comes from drama and not law, so this may not come out in the story.
Anyways, if the Holi clash with Sahil got Vedika so riled up, imagine what this will do to her when she already knows she is at the wrong and has deceived Sahil. Sahil is going to go down before he gets up to fight it out with her by his side, but he is also going to become ruthless with his family. Loved the way he got out of the chair in the precap. He acted like he had touched fire. There is no way that he is going to continue staying in the Agarwal house if they brought NIdhi to the house. This should let the family know that Sahil's madness will not end even with the marriage. On top of this Sahil has decided that he is married... like Radha. He has Vedika in his heart and he only married his Vedika ji. So that makes him the pati now. He is no more the lover but the husband. Vedika can think whatever she wants but to Sahil he is married and this stays till his death. We are going to see her tell him Nidhi is your wife and he is going to counter saying you are my patni and that will not change till my death. Now he has graduated from "Vedika ji se mein pyaar karta hun" se, "Vedika ji mere patni hai".
On another note... the best trump card that the family had was marrying off Sahil to stop his madness. If this backfires and it will too, what will they do next? Also any human betrayed the way Sahil was will loose their senses for a period. No one can just get back up and fight pronto. So ideally the next stage is camp outside Vedika's house and self destruct.
Also, Vedika put him in this situation, somewhere she would need to pull him out too. It was not without a reason that Sahil was shown ecstatic with his marriage. She has seen him being so happy when he was with her, she is going to see him destroy himself away from her. She has already gone to the extreme to save him. The same way he did during her marriage. It would be uncharacteristic of her to let him sink now. She need to pull him out or he is going to stalk his wife. How else will we get to see them meeting each other? Love and guilt are both going to kill her. The telepathy will be at full swing from now on, she will be able to feel his pain. More than Sahil I would want to see Vedika break down and run to right the wrong, with him. Maybe, together they will bring the true colors of Nidhi or maybe it will be Sahilgiri all the way.
Will this track also show Sahil that Vedika is not perfect and she has her flaws too? Will this help him drop the ji, though personally I love the ji 😃... I see the ji dropping pretty soon. One he is pati 2 she is human too and need not be put on a pedestal.
As for those who get emotional with this track... this is just to prove to Vedika and the family that even a marriage is not going to keep Sahil away from Vedika. Nothing really could 😃. Zee already has a Woh apna Sa. There is no need for our show to take that route too. So take a chill pill and watch the show, maybe after Sahil and Vedika come to a compromise 😃.
