Irrfan Khan is NOT seeking any Ayurvedic treatment; confirms the actor

Irrfan Khan is currently in London where he
is undergoing treatment for
NeuroEndocrine Tumor. He shared with his
fans via social media that he will be traveling
abroad for the treatment of the rare disease
that he has contracted.
Yesterday, a news came in that he is also
seeking an ayurvedic treatment. He is
reportedly consulting Vaidya Narayan
Murthy for the healing potion. Well, today
the actor's spokesperson has confirmed
that all such reports are untrue.
The spokesperson said, "As suggested by
the recent news reports, Mr. Khan is not
consulting with Vaidya Balendu Prakash. He
at one point had contacted him but other
than one phone call there has been no
conversation or consultation whatsoever. It
is unacceptable to be using someone's
illness for your own publicity and personal
gain. Like irrfan khans previous statements,
we all need to respect the space asked for
and wait for him or his wife's statement for
any further update."
On the work front, His upcoming film
Blackmail will be releasing on April 6, 2018.
Director Abhinay Deo spoke to a leading
daily about Irrfan and said, "What he's doing
is absolutely inspirational and amazing. He
not only opened up in detail about what
he's going through at this point of time, but
also [talked about] how he's dealing with
his illness. This clearly highlights his
positivity and strength. And in my opinion,
it's a winner's attitude, something that we
should learn from him.
"Irrfan is showing us how to deal with such
[unavoidable] circumstances in life. I'm
happy that he's doing well and, hopefully,
will be back with us as early as possible, he
added.
When asked about how Irrfan's absence at
promotions will affect the film at the box-
office, Abhinay said, "Honestly, good work is
always a team effort. When everyone makes
something with their heart and soul, a good
piece of work comes out of it. And it also
strikes the right chord with the audience.
We're keeping no stone unturned to
promote the film; even Irrfan wanted it this
way. He wants the best for the film and has
extended his support.
