Today's episode was full of hints!
And I do not mean that the hints were just limited to the characters of Pooja and Yash. It extended to the other characters too.
Aaj ka episode proved the fact that everyone is connected to the relationship between Aditya-Pooja and Yash-Zoya and therefore, Aditya-Zoya.
In the first part of the episode when Aditya jumped off the ambulance suddenly, woh dum ghutna and that pain+anger was portrayed wonderfully by Harshad.
Also in the entire episode Zoya's inability to come to terms with the "truth" was quite clear. She just cannot accept ki Yash kabhi aisa kar sakta hai.
Now you might wonder why I put the word truth in quotes above. Woh isiliye kyunki aaj dono parties ke fathers ne humein kuch aisi baatein batayi that proves that there definitely is more than meets the eye.
Jo dikh raha hai, woh poora sach nahin hai.
The line I used as the title of this post is one big example. Why did Mr. Siddique say it? Of course aisa ho sakta hai ki really he said that because he and Yash never shared a proper relationship and therefore Yash avoided his father in law's phone calls. But it could just be the fact that he knew something. Maybe not about the accident. Well we don't know if it really was an accident either. But he definitely knows more than he lets on.
Another example would be the scene where Mr. Hooda, the other father, jumps in and snatches the reports before his younger son could confirm that uski bhaabi ki death normal accident hai ya nahin. It was as if he was trying to cover something up. Also we also realised today that Aditya hates his father and Aditya hates cheaters because his father cheated on his mother. And she still stayed with him knowing that he did so.
Another interesting thing was the relationship between Arjun, Aditya's brother aur Pooja ki mummy. And her quiet breakdown is quite unexpected. I expected her to bawl her eyes out. Could that mean she knew something too?
Clearly what Aditya lacks, proper family comfort, Zoya has that. Atleast where her mother and sister are concerned. I don't know how to interpret her father. Is it overprotectiveness or ego? I guess it'll get clearer in the future.
But yet again, today the show stealer definitely was AdiYa.That scene in the end. I could literally feel the emotions rolling of them. The utter turmoil. While Aditya seems to take the things at face value, Zoya likes to stick to her ideals. Dono ke characters ki yeh points toh clear hai.
But it'll be interesting to see how their minds change and reality slowly becomes clearer.
So all in all it was an episode that I thoroughly enjoyed!
