Radhika Apte on her long-distance marriage:It's exhausting and very ex

Not many know that the gorgeous Radhika Apte is a married woman. In 2012, she tied the knot with British musician, Benedict Taylor, who is based in London. In an interview, Radhika recently opened up about the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance relationship.

"I try and visit every couple of months and he also comes so we're not away from each other for more than a month. It's exhausting and very expensive also," she told Film Companion.

Radhika said that fans are shocked when they see her flying economy class, but she does not have an option. "Imagine making three trips in two months, and that too last-minute ones because suddenly I got a week off. It's such an expensive lifestyle - two houses in two of the most expensive cities in the world and 2-3 tickets a month to travel back and forth every month," she said.

The couple met in London in 2011, when Radhika went to the city to learn contemporary dance. Sparks flew almost instantly, and Radhika and Benedict got hitched a year later.

On the work front, Radhika was last seen on the big screen in R Balki's Pad Man opposite Akshay Kumar. The film raked in over Rs 80 crore at the box office.
