You are right, Naina's family is not as dangerous as Dhadhi. The purpose of showing her snatching the chain and throwing it show how revengeful she is . She doesn't mind destroying something that is precious to someone else. And here he doesn't have a single support . His mom who should be his amour is more of a puppet. It is evident that she wants to show the Somani's that Rohan is much more important to her than Sameer. I feel Somani not like Sameer is primarily because Vishaka herself has no stand for her son. 😭

She is a typical example of "Damsel in distress". A woman who always runs for her own happiness and never really thinks about her responsibility.
See when Nanu died that woman was not with Sameer, when she should be. She was letting her hubby grab her and she remained away from Sameer.
Nothing uncommon. Woman in our society was like this and they are still like that. Not all woman are like Shefali's mom "Himmatwali / Mother India" type. To her Sameer is a past. If Sameer dies she will not be so sad. As at present she has a loving family( according to her view), a loving hubby( according to her), a perfect son Rohan(according to her), cute daughter, wealth and position etc. She is a thing who only seeks perfection. She doesn't know about woman power or anything.
Even her Dad was a rich guy. She could marry a man who would accept Sameer as their son and behave normally. But no. She is an escapist and irresponsible woman. I don't think she has self respect too. She was explaining to the servent about Sameer's like and dislike...Somani started to babble about stupid census at that time and scold her for not listening to him. She is the one who said "Sorry". Just think about a woman of today...I mean the feminist type..."Kurukshetra" ho jata agar husband behaved that way. 😆 😆 "Mere marzi...who cares about you and your nonsense news paper...jaa jaake TV pe bol". 😆 😆
But yeah their kind of dumb girls do exist in our society who let other rule them like slaves.
