EK RAJKUMARI KI VIDAMBANA: KUNWARI YA SUHAAGAN

Raj Purohit (pandit) chanted "Dulhe ko bulaiye!"(call bridegroom) A 14yr. boy was brought by his grandfather & made to sit in the mandap. Purohit chanted mantras & performed some rituals. A while later Raj Purohit chanted "Kanya ko bulaiye!"(call the bride) A 4yr. old girl dressed in bridal finery is brought & made to sit near the boy. The 4 yr old girl is busy in playing with her bangles & bridal finery; & boy in his video game. Both are doing whatever elders asked them while playing. A little while later, panditji announced" aaj se aap pati patni hain!"(now you are husband & wife)

Two old friends hugged each other said"aaj se humari dosti rishtedaari main badal gai!"(today our relation has changed from friendship to family)

14years has passed and she is still trying to find her husband. She has no one whom she can call as her own. Her house burn't 2yrs. back along with her whole family. Single family member remaining is her chacha (paternal uncle) who is after her blood for sake of property & title. She is RAJKUMARI GEETANJALI SINGHANIA, heiress to Kingdom of Rajgarh!

MRIGNAYANI

She was trying to save herself from those goons sent by Brij, the landlord's son. He had just murdered a girl and she was the sole witness. Brij along with his men had come to kill her. Girl who was still innocent like a newly appeared bud at tender age of 18. It was her misfortune that she had left from Delhi by last bus to Hoshiyarpur. She wanted to surprise her grandfather, Daarji, the Sarpanch of this village for his birthday. This village was next to town of Hoshiyarpur, it was in dark and secluded portion of the village that she landed in this mess. Her only fault was that she was at wrong place and at wrong time. Men kept repeating, "Kudi nu aaj pakad kar maar kar nadi mei dubba deinge. Koi saboot hi nahi rahega!" (We will catch the girl kill her and dispose her body in river!) She had covered her face with her dupatta and only her eyes were visible. Her eyes were her best feature but she was unaware of it! Her run had come to an abrupt halt by her banging into a solid hard male chest. She quickly picked herself saying "MAAF KIJIYEGA! SORRY!" and scurried away hearing Brij and his goons voices! Leaving the man confused !

PRIYASI

The room was beautifully decorated with scented rose candles and rose petals making the room cosy and romantic. A bride was sitting in centre of her bridal bed (Suhaag ki sej) under canopy of roses and tuberoses, waiting for her love of past 10years or more and her husband of few hours back. Dressed in bridal finery with her face fully covered by red chiffon with zardozi embroidered dupatta. Her hair parting filled with bright red sindoor under her maang tikka, her big naath (nose ring) touching her cheeks and lips and her graceful neck adorned by black beads signifying her marital status. The door opened and walked in her husband looking extremely handsome in his green and gold sherwani. The thick material of sherwani could not hide his muscular chest and 8 pack abs. Bride's heart beats quickened on her husband's approaching the bed. The thought of him lifting her ghunghat made her shiver with excitement. However it was not what happened, the man turned his back towards her and said, "Geet, mai apni college mate Sameera se pyaar karta hoon aur usse shaadi karna chahta hoon. Maine jab yeh baat Mom aur Dad ko battai toh unhone mujhe iss parivaar se, iss ghar se, jyadaad se aur KC se bedakhl karne ki dhamki di agar maine tumse shaadi nahi ki toh. Maine bahut chaaha ki tumhei milkar sach battaon magar har baar mujhe rok diya gaya kabhi pyaar se aur kabhi chall se. Iss liye naa chahte hue bhi mujhe tumse shaadi karni padhi! Geet tum jaanti ho ki mai tumhe kabhi bhi pasand nahi karta thaa - naa toh bachpan mei aur naa abb! Yeh natak hummai kuch dino ke liye karna padhega jab tak jyadaad mere naam nahi hoti uske baad hum talaaq ke liye apply karenge. Tum abhi kewal athaarah (18) saal ki ho aur tumhei mujhse acche anekon jeevan saathi mil jaayenge jo tumse pyaar karenge. Mujhe maloom hai ki tum asoolonwali ladki ho iss liye meri madad karogi!" (Geet, I'm in love with my college mate, Sameera and want to marry her. When I told this to Mom and Dad, they threatened to disown me from this family, home and Khurana Industries if I don't marry you! I tried many times to meet you in privacy but I was always stopped, sometimes with love and sometime with trickery. Thats why I had to marry you without wanting to. Geet you know I never liked you whether it was as a child or whether it is now. We will have to play this drama for few days till I'm made heir of Khurana Industries in India after that we can apply for divorce. There was complete silence in the room, when the bridegroom could not bear her silence any longer he said, "Geet tum kuch bol nahin raheen ho?" (Geet why are you not saying something?) "Mr. Maan Singh Khurana jo aap chahte hain woh aapko bahut jald mil jaayege!" (Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, you will get what you desire very soon!) An extremely sweet and melodious voice said, making Maan want to lift the ghunghat and see the face of the bearer of such mesmerising voice. Then pulling himself together said, "Good night!" And left the room whereas Geet felt that her soul is leaving her body and she has nothing to live for!

PREM YAA MRIGTRISHNA ?

In thirty minutes her whole life changed! The small family she consider her own for past 16yrs. have left her and now only their memories remain. The place she called her home was now a blackened rubble of bricks and glowing embers! The only eerie sound of fire engine alarms and gush of forceful spraying water was breaking the deathly silence! Geet wanted to know if the Almighty was making a jest of her or trying to reduce her problems. If there was no family, she didn't need to earn to feed, clothe or educate them? No expense on last rites as well as there is nothing to cremate except ash! She had never thought that when she was going to buy a carton of milk and few other household essentials in a nearby supermarket it would be the last time of seeing them alive! Suddenly the voices seemed to be coming from far away and her vision was being covered by darkness!

The victim of their disgusting bet heard everything. She had come to share the joy that soon there is going to be an arrival of symbol of their love. But, what she got in return? She was unable to bear that one of the most beautiful and meaningful relationship for a girl in the world could just be a drama to win a cheap bet. Looking down at the chain gracing her neck she could not believe that its just a chain and not a sacred black thread of beads that binds a girl's love, honour, dignity and prestige with her beloved, life and soul mate. What she had hoped to be world's most beautiful relationship was in reality coated in deceit, ego, revenge and charade! She ran back to where she had come from with tears streaming down her eyes. Along with victim another two pair of eyes also saw and heard the talk between the two final year MBA students!

Yuvraj Bhujang dressed in white tuxedo was waiting to meet his prospective bride RAJKUMARI NEELAKSHI DURGESHWARI SINGHANIA!! Soon the King and Queen of Vishgarh were announced and then the young Yuvraj Krishan and his wife Rajkumari Rukmini were announced. Yuvraj Bhujang was stunned to see that his baby sister, Mini had grown up into a mature and graceful Princess in these seven years. Rajkumari Rukmini came near her maternal family but due to the formality of the occasion and the royal protocol she just curtsied to them when introduced surprising Yuvraj Bhujang and moved on. Soon the ballroom opened and the King and Queen of Vishgarh opened the ball followed by the young Yuvraj Krishan and his wife Rajkumari Rukmini. Soon the ballroom was filled with important couples from Royal Kindoms of home & abroad; foreign dignitries and foreign diplomats. Yuvraj Bhujang was continously on the dance floor as dance partner to Princesses, foreign dignitries and foreign diplomats' wives but he was still not able to meet Rajkumari Neelakshi Durgeshwari Singhania.

Just then the light dimmed and a lady in classy Emerald Green dress, dripping in diamonds and emeralds walked in. Her face was hidden in dim light but the diamonds in her ears and neck were sparkling in the dim light! She was announced by the master of ceremonies, "Your Highnesses and Your Excellencies, Presenting to you all Princess of Vishgarh, RAJKUMARI NEELAKSHI DURGESHWARI SINGHANIA!!"

The lights came on and there was a pin drop silence. The gathered audience was stunned seeing the beauty in front of them having snow white skin; doe shaped eyes in Bluish-green colour; soft moist luscious red lips and dark brown thick wavy hair. Her divine beauty, hourglass figure and graceful walk in her off shoulder gown was making all men present aroused and wanting to come close to her and touch her to see if her beauty is for real as well as claim her for their own. Unable to control himself, "HANSINI!" slipped from Yuvraj Bhujang's clenched jaws and tighten lips!

Maa, humare pyaar ke jeevan athva unke sakushal bhavishye ke liye, jaise hi unka swasthiye sambhalta hai, hum unko chodh kar chale jaayenge." (Maa, today I ask you for my Maan Sir's life, respect and prestiage in lieu of which I will give you my love which is my most precious possession in this life. Maa, for his prosperous life and bright future, I will leave him as soon as he recovers.) Geet made a vow with tears streaming down her face. Trying to control herself she added, "Maa, aapse humari vinamr vinti hai ki hummein itni shakti do ki bina humare kadam dagmagaye huye hum Maan Sir se hamesha ke liye door chale jaayen! Aur jo dard humare kaaran unhein ho woh dekh kar hum toote nahi." (Maa, I have only one request from you that please give me so much strength that I'm able to leave Maan Sir and go far away without my resolve breaking. Also give me strength that I'm able to see him in pain.)

Well I love all ur stories n really enjoyed reading them..😊

I hv one suggestion though if u don't mind..

Include a small prologue below each story title so if a new reader come across the thread they get a hint of the storyline n more convinent to pick up for reading..

Though most of the title here gives an idea bt still if u add it's look more nice..
