Something that could have happened but didnt:😭😭😭
It is the day of the sagai and Sumo just cannot take it anymore. Shivaay Bhaiya promised that he would arrange a meeting between her and Rudra to figure things out and she is willing to step back if Rudra really loves Bhavya. Where is he now? Saumya has the video on projector in the dark room, to remind him that they did infact get married, and it was Rudra who convinced her to do all the rasams. But instead of Rudy, Bhavya enters the room, sees the video of Rudra and Saumya's marriage and confronts her. Saumya explains how she got married to him while drunk and since Rudra did not seem to accept the marriage, she left for Australia, but realized she could not live without him. Then she explains everything that has happened till now. Flashback: She got a call from Chubby telling her that Rudra is really upset so she came back. Then when she saw how badly he wanted to meet Bhavya, she got her back for closure, because she thought that seeing her get Bhavya back just for his sake would make Rudra realize just how much she loves him and since they had such a good relationship in the past, those feelings of attraction he had for her could be rekindled.
When she saw the proposal, she was very disappointed and went crying towards the back of the house. Veer caught her in one of her most vulnerable moments and brainwashed her that if she helped him, he would get Rudra back for her. The 3rd NB sister had been one of her close friends in Australia. She had been sent there for safekeeping by the Kapoor mother, they had not met her since, and there was unfortunately a shooting in her university in which the 3rd sister got killed. This news was to be conveyed by Saumya to the Kapoors but since they were busy plotting and scheming, noone picked up her calls and she could not inform them.
Sumo pretended to be the 3rd Kapoor sister just to get an intel on the doings and get her revenge on the family, who she felt had wronged her, because she never really signed the papers for annulment of the marriage and they assumed her as Ex. She agreed to Veer for a while, but when she saw how he was willing to take the life of his wife and even Mr. Oberoi was on their side, she felt very guilty for having such thoughts and went and confessed everything to Shivaay (who had by then found out about Veer), who asked her to be his double agent.
Shivaay has not told this to anyone in the house because he feared that if Veer even thought that Saumya was on their side, he would be able to harm both Saumya and the Oberois, especially his bacha Rudra. She gave him fake bullets for Annika and helped regain the money that was stolen and/or laundered per Veer's plan in Goa. In recent episodes, she was pestering Veer so she could figure out the plan and help Shivaay on the fake Tia kidnap execution, then was putting in the antidote for whatever Bua's plan was in the soup but got caught by RivYa. She is not aware of what Tia knows about the KM Raaz, but she figures Tia is just as stuck as her in the game and does not know how to help her out either.
Bhavya sympathizes with her, but just like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, challenges her to prove Rudy boy is in love with Sumo, only then she will accept defeat and leave. Sumo accepts this and asks Bhavya to keep this dare between them a secret till either of them wins. Bhavya agrees.
In the end, Sumo wins!! YAYYY!! #RumYaKiShaadiHoGayi 👏
