Barsine was Alexander's second wife

She was also known as Stateira II. After Alexander's death she was killed by his first wife Roxana.

It's right, barsine was Alexander second wife, but more than marriage it was a political alliance.

Actually in the show they are showing this much involvement of barsine, but other than her marriage and death there is not much about her in history. As much as I know.

in movies and In serials all around the world it is shown that Alexander always loved Roxana...and ignores Barsine...but he loved Barsine equally...he had a special tutor for her to teach her Macedonian language...and he was training her to be his queen though Roxana or Roxane was his love at first sight type ..

Yes you are right but Alexander treated Barsine and ladies of her family with respect. I read somewhere in Wikipedia that her grandmother and she along with the royal ladies mourned Alexander's death. I don't think they would do it for just political alliances. I don't know what they will show in porus.

Barsine was Alexander's second wife but he never loved her for him this marriage was an political alliance but he treated her with respect it is mentioned in my accounts by historians on the other hand he was passionately in love with Roxanne who was his first wife and known as the most beautiful woman in whole asia. Many of Alexander officers was against this marriage but he went against all to marry her.

What i don't like about this show is Alexander and his mother obsession with bharat. They are degrading Alexanders character. They could have made him a grey character but no bharatiye should look mahan therefore rest should be monsters

i hope cvs includes this plot in their storyline . Because the way they are skipping Alexander's part in this show i doubt

he wasn't obsessed with Bharat...Persia was greatest empire of that time and he was mostly focused on it...and Egypt...
