Yesterday was a heart wrenching episode and everyone of us should have been so upset for Vedika.
But in the process how many of you noticed Sahil's T Shirt / Jacket š. I truly love his T Shirts, they always come with a message. Yesterday's had 'Start to Panic' written on it. Wasn't it so apt for the occasion. He was wearing it right from the temple, when he leaves Vedika and is at Allahabad. This will change only after he is with Vedika. Nice touch eh? Love KJ or the team whosoever brought in this subtle touch.
She was shattered and silent, until her mother starts with Sahil bashing. She could not let Sahil be blamed can she? Not exactly jumps to his defense but does not let that topic continue either. She never lets anyone say anything about Sahil... only she has that right, be it to slap or accuse or bash him š³ Arya's support was so important, she was so grateful that her daughter did not think bad of her ā¤ļø.
Then comes Sahils call... her voice breaks, she does not want to tell her problems to Sahil for obvious reasons. BM is a thug and there is no telling what she could do to her daughter or mom, for once Vedika is very scared. But Sahil's telepathy works and he tells her that BM is not strong, just what she needed to know and it is Vedika who is strong and no matter what he will be with her always! Vedika is so moved, she sooo needed that from HER Sahil, right from the moment this whole thing started.
This Badi amma is really crass, the way she said Vedika lured Sahil by her body 'Shareer ki lalach'. Yuk!! Sahil can love Vedika within the boundaries the love they feel for each other encompasses all named relationships and it is absolutely right to not name their relationship. Because it is much much more deeper than any name.
What cheap thoughts from this woman, no wonder her husband ran away š” The creepy Jiju and Sruthi was a shock to Vedika, how will she even handle it? She obviously will not disclose it as this will hurt Sahil. But, my favorite will do the job, Mind na kariyega... the one and only Deepak Jiju š. Have a feeling Creep is going to do something bad to Vedika and she is going to leave Kanpur, but Sahil will intercept her on the way. When Sahil is here why fear.
Creep is 40 and Shruti is 18, we have a 2nd marriage of his coming up, 22 years of age difference, with a wife and 2 children, this is acceptable to the society!! Whereas, Sahil and Vedika's relationship is considered taboo because, the woman is 18 years elder, a widow and has a child. One is illegitimate and the other is totally legitimate and between consenting adults.
Vedika today was thinking what I had been thinking for a while too... She's been alone for the past 7 years and handled all her problems on her own. But, since Sahil came into her life... she seems to be in need of his support all the time š. She is all set to fight alone again... but little does she know that Sahil is on his way back. It feels good to see Vedika questioning her need for Sahil and trying to do away with it. But no matter what she ends up needing him. Parallel to that is Sahil's need to be close to her, protect her and always keep her happy. Beautifully came out in this episode. The look she gives the RK idol after her phone conversation with Sahil was so touching, says a lot about her repressed feelings.
Last but not the least... Nani shakes and bakes Badi amma with her jatka. What will BM do when Sahil follows Vedika all the way from Kanpur to where ever she goes? But... we know Sahil is going to bring her right back to Agarwal mansion as his wifey. For now Badi amma's happiness and arrogance was gone she is shaken and looked scared šš That was totally worth it.

Since this post started with Sahils Ts... a special mention need to be made about the post bang episode where Sahil is crying in his bed. He was wearing a Flintstone Tshirt... like really, who wears that at 24, its more for a 4 year olds wardrobe šš. But love these little quirkiness of this show... feels just perfect!!
