Why was Mona hell bent on being Mrs.Boney till her death?

I just read one of her first interviews which was published on the coverpage of Savvy Magazine in late nineties.She claims that boney was obsessed with Sridevi even before she started living in their home. Boney himself has confirmed this in India today conclave where he said he fell in love with Sridevi when he saw her iconic tamil film 16 vayadhinile(Sri was 15 when she shot that film) in late 70's(Before he married mona) Also she herself mentions boney wanted her to sign divorce papers for long but she refused it due to personal reasons. She portrayed Boney & Sridevi as monsters in the media. If she was such a self respecting woman why didn't she agree to part way with when him he asked for divorce??

PS: In the other thread lot of ppl said how boney dumped his children after he married Sri.Here is what mona said about it "My children live with me but are close to their father too. They travel with him, dine with him. I have no animosity or hatred for the man.

Boney might have fallen in love with Sri before he married Mona but he had an affair with Sri, he slept with Sri and made her pregnant after being married to Mona

Mona did not make them out monsters.. the ppl did really ruin her life

As for not signing the divorce papers, could be various reasons.. Perhaps she wamted to get back at them.. till she was the legal wife, Sri could not be and she wanted to show things as they were? Perhaps she thought divorce would take away the father of her children even more? Maybe she had hopes that some day the guy would return? If boney really wanted a divorce he could have easily gone to court for it

And as far as making sure that kids are close to their father, i just take it to mean that she gave them good upbringing and did not fill thier heart with hatred and bitterness for their father

I had an arranged marriage with Boney Kapoor. He was 10 years older to me. I was 19 when I married him. So I literally grew up with him. Ours was a 13-year-old marriage. So it came as a shock when I realised that my husband was in love with somebody else.

A second relationship was something that one had only read or heard about. But when it happened to me, at that very point my marriage was over. Respect, for me, is foremost. Love follows that. As we evolve, sometimes needs change. Boney too needed somebody else; not me. There was nothing left in the relationship to give it a chance because Sridevi was already with a child. Their rishta was kayam. That itself was a big statement for me to opt out.

Lots and LOTS of women put up with cheating husband for a zillion reasons... Still Doesnt make the husband right

Anyways why are we hashing old stuff.. Both the women are dead leaving behind devastated children..

Probably that was mona's way of getting back at Sridevi... wouldn't blame her..Srodevi till date is referred as other women..Boney is such a piece of shit, i have no words for him, and his continuous blabbering of how he and sridevi fell in love is disgusting...atleast sridevi has the decency to keep her mouth shut about their Epic true love but boney no sensitivity at all

maybe she thought it wouldn't last with Sri like sanjay khan went back to his wife after marrying zeenat . even her marriage with Mithun did not last .

Dinning from time to time with your father doesn't equate having a father who fulfills all his responsabilities.

Anshula was only 4 when her father left. They may share a good equation with their father now but that doesn't negate that their father completely neglected them once he got involved with sridevi.

I strolled on Anshula instagram and the only pictures she shares of her father are the ones before he left : she doesn't seem to have got much affection from him especially compared to jhanvi and khushi.

And for your post, I believe you're a guy, am I right ?

Don't want to taint all men, but from my experience, men tend to be more selfish and self-centred than women when it comes to family.

Back in the days, majority of women were just too absorbed and consumed by taking care of their family worrying about their kids future : they had their priorities strait and didn't have time to fool around.

They sacrificed themselves to make everyone comfortable, discharged their husband from too much pressure, only to found out that the same husband had been cheating on them because of LOVE.

Now and that's my opinion : LOVE isn't your pass to cheat, hurt and abandon your family.

Fortunately, nowdays women have learned the lesson the hard way and learned how to be strong, independent, not indulge in complete selflessness and not make their world revolves around a man.

Unfaithful husbands are getting the shit they deserve.

If anything, Mona has been a dignified woman : then what if she didn't want to sign the divorce papers ? Did it stop him to enjoy his life with his sri ? No ! Did it disturb so much his newly found happiness ? Don't think so !

She raised her children the best way, made them who they are : dignified, warmhearted and not resentful ! That's more than he deserves !
