Ali-Avni are BFF goals. They were always there for each other like true friends, even ready to give their lives for each other. Ali having feelings for Avni is understandable because they spent their childhood together. When the rest of the world believed that Avni is no more, only Ali had the faith that she will return and waited for her for 15 years. After learning that Avni loves Neil, he sacrificed his love and never confronted Avni that why she chose Neil over him. Even after going through the heartbreak, he stayed beside AvNeil through their thick and thin without expecting anything in return. When Avni decided to leave everything behind, she entrusted Ali with the responsibility of taking care of her most valuable thing, her Neil. Such is the beauty of their friendship
Neil-Mitali friendship can never match the level of Ali-Avni friendship.
Neil and Mitali met in their IPS training and Mitali had probably some crush on him. When last time she came to help Neil in Dawayanti case, she was doing harmless flirting with Neil and it didn't appear that she had any romantic feelings for Neil otherwise she would have felt jealous of Avni or looked hurt with Neil and Avni's marriage.
Neil entrusted Mitali with the task of trapping Dayawanti as he thought she is an able cop, but she only messed up the things more and ran away like a bhagodi after Dawayanti overpowered her and showed her her real place.After that case Neil never involved her in his life for any reason. She was nowhere in the picture when Neil was in trouble, not even when Neil was fighting with life and death. So I will consider that their friendship was never very strong like Ali-Avni friendship.
Now its weird to see that after Avni's supposed demise, Miss Mitali suddenly appears from nowhere and has suddenly developed feelings for Neil as if she was waiting for Avni's death and making a place in Neil's life. I can't relate to her feelings for Neil.Neil never needed Mitali to come out of the grief of Avni's presumed death when he has friends like Ali and DD and Khannas by his side.It looks like Mitali forcibly wants to enter into Neil's life not for him but for herself.
From today's episode I felt that whatever Neil does for Mitali is only to return her favors of standing by him during his crisis and nothing more than that and I appreciate cvs for keeping it like that only, nothing OTT from Neil's side.
Poor Neil, he is not aware of Mitali's real intentions. Just hoping that he does not go into some guilt-trip after learning about Mitali's feelings for him and better if he distances himself from her.
