If I remember clearly, Saumya is Dadi's friends grand daughter so how did she become a Kapoor sister?

Yeah..Saumya was Dadi's friend's granddaughter with surname Tendulkar, spoke Marathi, her bro had passed away and her mom was a nurse. That was what we knew when she entered the show. But they seemed to have changed it with no proper BG.

Today's dialogues of characters were totally hopeless...om saying I treated her like sister...she tied rakhi...really ... As per annulment laws when ulone comes to know that marriage happened under intoxication or forcefully etc...the moment the realisation strikes that wrong thing happened if u don't file for annulment, the marriage becomes real ...so unless they HV annuled or divorced, she is still Mrs saumya rudra Singh oberoi ...

This is perfectly written response and only if Saumya could have said this (but i feel forum writers can write much more real and sensible stories than actual writers) and let viewers decide whether to consider saumya as black, grey or some other color. The most strange character is Dadi. She was completely hell bent on making the forced marriage successful but when it comes to saumya.No reaction. Atleast show the character consistency. and other oberoi family less said the better. I think if they had decided to show saumya negative or revenge stricken, what they could have done is that ealrier immediately after the marriage is that "Rudra and Saumya personally and legally discussing that the "marriage was not proper and desired and therefore we will file for annulment because I don't love you and you very well know that marriage under intoxication is void if we file for annulment". Also family should come into this discussion as well. Now even after this saumya turning negative or revenge stricken can be defended but at least one could have argued that "okay marriage was not legally okay and also personally rudra was not okay and was intoxicated and all family knows about it. and even if saumya doesnt want to get seperated from Rudra, we can still understand Rudra PoV that he doesn't love her and doesn't think about spending life with her so saumya should also understand this ". Basically i am not a fan of revenge/forced/intoxicated marriage. but they have handled it way too poorly and therefore Saumya is not looking like that negative.
