As far as the Sir thing is considered...In a school set-up usually it is the responsibility of every teacher to address each other as Sir and Ma'am in order for all the students to respect them always..it is a part of school decorum to address each other as Sir and Ma'am in front of students...Rakesh though not a teaching staff member but still he is a Library Teacher whom students are expected to address as Sir...and hence his fellow colleagues also address him as sir...just like how he addresses Shaanti teacher as Madam and Lochan Sir as Sir...

In our schools also if we see...all teachers address each other as Sir and Madam

And seriously why is Lochan sir giving explanations to Rakesh.

This school feels like North Korea and Rakesh is its dictator. 😡
