She stared at the blank canvas. The brush loosely held between her fingers. The paints lay unopened.
Her glance shifted to the calm sea, her face relaxed as she watched the waves dance gently with the fishing boat.
She glanced back at the canvas, white and empty. She wanted to be empty in her depths.
Yet when she closed her eyes, they nightmares recurred.
She wanted to forget the deep love she once had felt.
She wanted to forget.
She hated herself for even remembering the feelings.
Him (Prithvi)
He was on a vacation he reminded himself. His fingers where still playing away on the keys, scheduling meeting for the coming week.
Damn prithvi, he muttered to himself, take a break.
He was in Goa, a much deserved break from hectic program schedules.
His dance company was shaping up well.
He turned away from his laptop to stare at the calm sea.
The waves appeared to dance. He chuckled, ya he saw rhythm in everything.
The love for music had made him take a brave step of leaving a comfortable 9 to 5 job and put himself into a risky but passionate adventure.
He sipped his coffee, one hand reached to touch the flute, time to play some music.
The coffee was forgotten, as his lips touched the flute.
