Completely agree. She over designs, picks up many trends and makes a hodge podge that I think is not suitable for every day life. Well normal people anyway.

I like Gauris designs. Ok the overuse of animal prints and dark wood isn't to my taste. However the geometric prints and the glitz/glamour is very Art Deco from the 20s. It invokes a different era and I can imagine the glamorous world that lives in that space

Yea her designing style in pretty overwhelming but some of the pieces in her store are gorgeous.
If I was super rich with a huge house I would sure want some of those pieces in my house.
Her collection is actually pretty good but she just needs to realise that less is more.

Taste is subjective and I'm not much for bling but Gauri's business is doing extremely well. She has stores in Mumbai and Delhi and a separate studio in Mumbai. I think she's opening one in Dubai too.

She's the brand ambassador of the Ace Group and designs apartments and condos for them.

She has her own line of lighting with Tisva and features in the ads.

She just launched her new line of rugs with Jaipur Rugs in Paris.

Apart from that, she worked on Planet Hollywood in Goa, designed the Ralph Lauren store in Delhi, and works with UK nightclubs like Circe le soire and The Zoo for pop-up events in India. And normal projects like restaurants and offices too.

Honestly, she's doing very very well. I'm sure SRK's name helps but it can't take you past the starting point.

Just checked her website..what was that ? Horrible designs to say the least ! Those co salled designs spoiled the structure of the rooms !!Had she not srk's wife ,no one would have given her any projects ! Poor them !

yeh kaam acha hai . buy luxury pieces from across the world n drop it in the house 😆 luxury pieces will anyway not look bad 😆
