Kapil Dev, shelf talk, her bgm, her expressions, and that walk of hers. Too many hilarious things about yesterday's episode. Nothing makes sense, but I thoroughly enjoyed SC in her new avatar. His reactions to her dramatics was the icing on the cake.

She was happily chatting with Gauri until angry Shivaay came. The way she put her leg down and straightened her skirt then sat like a scolded child was my favorite scene. The way Gauri ran off was funny too like she didn't want to get involved.

@onlyrani I wanted a serious track, but that's not in our cards because CVS always go back to comedy. I have given up on the plot a long time ago 😆

So why the presumption that she hasn't gotten to do an emotional track in a while? The whole Vanvaas track started off emotional only...she's now getting to do a madcap disguise after a while...the random burqa getup in b/w was hardly for one epi...so I'm not really sure why it's being said she isn't getting something meaty or with variation to do...I feel she's gotten plenty of that and she's always nailed it.

The bells and random nonsense ruined the emotional impact for me. I gave up trying to watch the episodes and then I gave up on watching the clips on Instagram. SC nailed her scenes, but the writing was more ridiculous than the usual IB brand of ridiculous I couldn't watch it.

Vanvaas track was serious that's why I enjoyed it. I came back from holiday expecting something and it was turned into unintentional comedy with the groupbaaaz and a shaadi no one wants.

@bold Not sure how wanting a serious track turned into a presumption that she hasn't done an emotional track in awhile? I'm confused when did I imply she hasn't done a emotional track in awhile or that the vanvaas track wasn't emotional enough? I just wanted another serious track. Personally, I want to know more about Anika and her character. I always have. I don't think writers share enough about her character or develop her character without the comedy gags. Honestly, the writing is subpar, but SC does wonders with what little the writers give her.

The "seriousness" of Vanvaas track hardly lasted a week...if you watch the show in real time and not through clips, you'd be able to see what the patterns have been for a long time...so again, I'm honestly confused about why the expectations of a "serious" track at this time given that by IB "logic", they've already wrapped up a "serious" track vis a vis Vanvaas which involved seperations and emotional angst family-wise so it's not going to happen so soon again.

You still want to know more about Anika's character after having seen a year and a half of the way this story is written? God bless you, really😆😆...the writing has always been like this only and it will never amount to any great meaty background stories so again I'm not sure where these expectations are coming from...lol...

IB exists simply as a montage of scenarios...not some ovearching whole...so in order to view it, one would have to adjust expectations accordingly or chuck it all together I suppose *shrugs*

AY, I know a very late response. But I was trying to reconnect the look from head to toe that Shivaay gave for Annika's new get up. I mean he had given the same look before. Only then I realised it was the same look, he gave on the failed 1st night attempt No 1 when he gifted Annika a pink dress and she wore on the top of her night dress. I watched both the looks side-side, LMAO... NM-SC and their comic timing! Just missing was Shivaay's "Yeh kya hai, Annika?" but I'm sure he would have asked in his mind in repeat mode...
