Yes .. mostly weddings in those days were like that .. thy use to check out boy or girl for their respected kids in marriages .. sometimes teens or adults who ever were of marriage age used to fall in love too ..
I remember something like this happened to me .. I was attending my friends wedding .. the groom neighbor belonged to our caste probably that's wht my friend told me .. she was telling my other friend who was her neighbor too l. that I wish I hadn't married my son off .. if not I would have got this girl married to my son ..
