One sends contradictatory, ambigious messages plus receives mixed messages that creates confusion between how one behaves and what one says. The episode to me is all about communication, meaning , significance, messages..
Vyom ends up sleeping with Sharanya. As far as he sees it, its significant as she's his wife. The contradiction exists,in Sharanya only tolerating his taking liberties with a pinch of salt. To me she gives him mixed messages about his somewhat wanton advances, lest he suspects her. Overall Vyom understands the discrepancy between how she acts and what she says. He knows , she is aware of the contents of the Vidyut's video. Still overall Vyom sees himself anything but a loser,in the given situation. He gets to sleep next to his wife,plus knows when her body guard Shiv is not beside her. I envisaged he'll take liberties with her. But Vyom, needed the coast clear from Shiv's spiritual presence, so he can tend to some serious unfinished business! Again to do with his crimes.
Sharanya,for sure must wonder about the contradictory hours Shiv takes leave from her side. This is an area, about which he has left her in the dark. Mind you, he did say to her he'll tell her more about it some other time.Shiv is sincere, in what he mentioned in passing,as he himself is unaware of the reason he is pulled to the lakeside during sunset and sunset.. But Vyom's touch repulses Sharanya ! if this is the ordeal she will be subjected to every time Shiv leaves? Sharanya dreads it to no end!
As we saw Rajan has been giving mixed messages of love,hate to his alcoholic wife. In fact I believed the neglected Madhvi turned to booze on account of Rajan's eratic behaviour. Yet it seems now Vyom's mental health issues veers Rajan to seek his wife's support. The scene sends off a positive message to Madhvi ,as her ever dismissive husband now agrees their son is dangerously blinded by his love for Sharanya..so much so, he's ready to kill anyone who crosses his path. Makes me wonder too, if Rajan's love for Madhvi is sincere or is it simply to get her over to his side? Seeing that she knows full well that Rajan colluded with Vyom ,in his killings! Its a bit late,yet Madhvi too now confesses it was Vyom who pushed her downthe stairs. In fact both parents come together for once, all because of their son's illness,better late than never. The mother hopes for the best. Wishful thinking.
How long will Vyom box up his crimes, triggered off by his obession for Sharanya? Shiv's absence gives him a loud enough message to dispose off Sadhvi's body before clever clogs Sharanya gets to it. As much as he wants his secretive baggage to go unoticed, unforunate for Rati she turns up with Avni in her arms. Vyom yet again gives off a stiff and cruel message to her for snooping around her. Forcefully snatches Avni off her! and speds off with the child! Another desperate mother Madhvi begs Rati to keep her lips sealed about Vyom. He must not decipher the message they are on to him ,as he's likely to go wild. Rati accepts that Madhvi will go and bring back Avni unharmed. Highly unlikely..
Vyom's scene with Avni is nothing short of traumatising the child who recognizes him as her loving uncle. He gives her a direct stern message without mincing his words, keep her eyes shut or else he'll kill her mother ! Basically Vyom seems heartless as to whom he gives a loud and clear signal. Age, relationship does not hinder him in the least in the tasks he sets himself to do! In the precap, we see his obsession takes the better of him,and he literally mows his own mother down, to stop Madhvi from taking Avni from him. Because little Avni too is part of a huge message Vyom wants to relay to her mother Rati.
Soothing sounds of silence.. Unspoken words at the lakeside gives tranquil messages to Shiv.The still waters, embellished here and there with lotus flowers, like always feel familiar as home. This place gives him comfort. He recalls this place offered him a safe haven where he could revive over and over those precious moments with Sharanya. Those past times when he opened his heart ,mind and soul to her.Times when he told her she insipred his finer senses, aroused passion within his heart, when she merged so much within him ,that he ceased to be Shiv and became Sharanya's Shiv. Now he wonders,why this place draws him to itself? So strong is its calling, that he without fail does the unimginable, leaves Sharanya with Vyom! Shiv regrets, one for not bringing Sharanya to this place.his favorite haunt even after death. His second remorse that hurts him is having to put up with Vyom making passes at Sharanya. His heart and eyes well up mournfully,even in the past he tolerated Vyom forcing himself upon Sharanya. Fate makes them meet again,but this time Vyom goes overboard, with Sharanya. Shiv feels hard done by..even after death Sharanya is not far but close.. yet the dark shadow of Vyom, distances, Shiv from his Sharanya.
Still like always, Shiv smiles with childlike affection for this lakeside, who like a mother ,as always takes away all his low points and replenishes him with peace calm. Embraces him to her bosom like her lost and found son. Shiv muses, he must bring Sharanya here,to partake in mother lakeside's still solitude.This place refreshes the soul..
Mixed message in his musings.. its like some one is about.. some one,unseen. Yet Shiv senses a strange, silent connection. An undefined bond, yet very much existent.While Shiv remains chained to the lakeside even after his death. Inside a dark room over looking the lake,curled fetters, someone with long wild hair, dressed in a sari, drags her feet to the bars of the window. A pair of hazel eyes peeps at the lake, Vyom feels the gaze on his back, and senses a silent calling, to which he heeds..his eyes search for answers..
Vyom,reaches the bridge, bids his good riddance to Sadhvi in an opened suitcase. One jerk of his arms and he topples the sage off to her watery grave! He is chuffed his wicked act is unseen. But not quite.. Shiv sees it all. Only the face down suitcase floating on the surface of the lake, conceals the contents of the ill fated suitcase. I wonder if Avni witnesssed all too? well Shiv's lakeside holds many dark secrets of the father and son Bedis.. Hamlet53 20.2.18
I thought both Vikram and Namik came across strongly in portraying Vyom and Shiv, the supporting cast too were convincing in their scenes.. felt sorry for the young missy, such a cutie ,looked petrified...
