The denial of the controversy helping this mediocre film's collections is baffling.Without the controversy surrounding Padmavat would it collect as much as it has done now?

Fact is that the movie made all that money, accept kar lo and move on.

100 cr belong to Karni sena...rest can be divided among Veeru, Deepu and SLB...Shahid didn't matter...they could have made anyone the Raja Rawal Singh.😆

Nope...it would have done something between RL and BM...had the hype was not there..even with all India release...the reviews were mostly negative or average.

Kisse pata.. this is something we will never know.. At the moment, we do know that the Karni Sena benefitted it.. Rest is mere speculation

Boi says movie would have made 375cr if it was released in all states. So if Ranveer's and Deepika's next two films make 125cr each we can say Karni Sena had no contribution or negative contribution attributing 125cr to each of SLB, RS and DP.

Kerni sena promoted the movie well and maybe I will credit the opening numbers to them. But beyond that its the content of the movie and strong word of mouth that brought such success today. The film is running for its 4th week like no other film has been able to do. That can't be because of Kerni sena now.
