I have been either shooting or sleeping during breaks. You have signed up for Santaan now? Yes, it's a fabulous role. I am this smart, suave business woman who is also the heroine's mother. Aren't you a little too young to be playing a mother? My co-stars are already teasing me about this. But honestly, if the role is great, age is no bar. I will also be seen in Comedy Cir- cus Season 2. Comedy and you? Yes, I have been dying to do a comedy. In fact, I love it when Kaveri (her character in Saat Phere) says something funny. How long does it take to stick the Kaveri tattoo to your arm? A minute. We use a two-way tape and unless my arms are too slip- pery, it stays on for a long time. Your Kaveri sarees look like gift wrapping papers. (Laughs) And guess what? My father has a garment business. He's now selling his own line of Kaveri sarees. Okay, what's new in Saat Phere? Kaveri is enjoying every bit of the fight between jiji and Kuki kaki. And yes, she also has some romantic scenes with Samar. How many times have you faked pregnancy on the show? Just once. But now we are trying for a baby again. Mazhar (Syed) and I keep laughing about this because I sound like such a frus- trated woman. Which other character would you like to play in Saat Phere? Of course Saloni's. With your kind of wardrobe, you could seamlessly enter Naagin. Guess what, I loved my dance number in Naagin. I felt just like Sridevi. You have been linked with Vishal Kotian and Ashish Kapoor. Yes, I'm a good-looking girl.. so the media likes to link me up with different men. As long as it is not Mohan Bhandari, right? (Laughs) There are a lot of young men out there. I wish they'd link me with Shah Rukh Khan now. How many times has Kaveri been slapped? I've been slapped about a dozen times, mostly by Samar or Manno bhabhi. Aren't you related to Pallavi Joshi? Yes, Vivek Agnihotri, her hus- band, is my uncle. She's very proud that I have made it on my own steam. Do you feel bad when you don't win an award? Yes, I've been nominated quite a few times but I've never won. Awards do matter to newcomers like me. Apparently, the Saat Phere sets are infested with mosquitoes… That was a long time ago. Since then they've had pest control done. So, you are the only pest around now? (Laughs) But I don't spread malaria.
