Part 4
Arnav and Khushi go to the room.
Arnav: Dadi wants us to start the family. So I think we should fulfill her wish.
Khushi: I have no problem but if Shyam gets to know then our plan will get foiled. I need a months time as I have to fast to Devi Maa before starting our new life.
Arnav: Yes, we can't have a baby so soon. We need to make Shyam mend his ways. He tortures Di a lot for the money and she cannot see anything beyond him. Plus we need to understand each other.
Arnav and Khushi go downstairs.
Dadi: Khushi, you need to prepare a sweet dish as her first entry in the kitchen as a part of our ritual.
Anjali: I feel like having a sheera.
Khushi: Fine, I will prepare it.
She prepares sheera and serves it to all. Everyone is happy with Khushi's preparation. Shyam checks for the remaining sheera so he can mix the abortion pill and give it to Anjali. He is on the way to the kitchen.
Dadi: Where are you going?
Shyam: Sheera is well prepared. I going to get some more.
He goes to the kitchen and sees a lot of sheera that is remaining. He puts some sheera into the bowl for Anjali and mixes it with the abortion pill. He takes the bowl to Anjali's room and comes back with the remaining dish.
Arnav: I had enough. I only had that as a part of the ritual. I don't like sweets.
He and Khushi go to the office.
Shyam goes to the room and sees the bowl glass is broken. He sees that the Lakshmi (goat) is struggling after having that sheera.
Dadi, Payal, Anjali, and Akash come to the room and is shocked to see the goat in that condition.
Akash calls the veterinary doctor who comes and cures the goat.
Dadi starts suspecting Shyam and waits for Arnav and Khushi to break the news.
Arnav and Khushi come home.
Dadi: I am not comfortable with Shyam. I find his behavior weird.
Arnav: I know Shyam very well. He has been troubling Anjali even though I was willingly sending them the money.
Dadi: Then we need to do something.
Arnav: I have installed the cameras. We will get all the evidence there.
Dadi: Was Shyam in love with someone else and had married Anjali for money?
Arnav: He was after Khushi since college days but he married Anjali.
Dadi: Khushi, I have full faith in you but I want to know that is there by any chance you loved him?
Khushi: I had never looked at him in that way. We were dance partners. He had proposed to me at my place to which my aunt agreed and had convinced my parents but he married Anjali without anyone's knowledge. When I got to know, I told my parents the same. They were utterly disappointed.
Khushi stops after seeing Arnav's gesture.
At Arshi room
Arnav: Whatever we have planned, it should be with us. It should not go out.
Khushi nods.
The next day is Khushi's birthday. Arnav and the family decorate the house to celebrate Khushi's birthday in a grand way.
Shyam kisses Khushi and said, "Happy birthday."
Arnav goes to his room to open the laptop to find the evidence against Shyam. He succeeds in finding it. He stores it in his mobile and flash drive.
Shyam gets a threatening call from Laxman regarding the house he took on EMI basis.
Shyam: Give me 10 days time. I will pay this installment.
Anjali overhears the conversation. She asked, "What is the matter."
Shyam: Nothing serious. Just relax.
He goes to the washroom.
Shyam's phone rings yet again. It was some other person from the same company. Anjali picks up the phone and gets to know the truth.
Shyam comes out.
Anjali: Your phone was continuously ringing. When I picked up the call, I got to know that you have taken the housing loan on the EMI basis. He was threatening.
Shyam: Yes, they are troubling me for money.
Anjali: Chotte has been giving you money. What did you do with that?
Shyam: I was paying it for other loans.
Anjali: Don't lie to me this time. I know that you have been spending money on other females.
Shyam: If you don't trust me, it is better that we part.
Anjali: As a wife, I have every right to know. You had hurt me, I bore that. You did all sorts of atrocities, I tolerated that. You have been bringing the girls to our room, that was the time, I had reacted. Now I am not going to keep quiet.
Dadi overhears the conversation and waits for Arnav and Khushi.
Shyam then calls Khushi. He said, "I need financial help from you. I have to pay the housing loans which I had taken for both of us."
Khushi meets Shyam and gives him the money and the jewelry.
Shyam: Thanks a lot. I know that you have always stood by me.
Khushi: I did that as your friend.
Shyam: Not as anything else?
Khushi: I don't think I am doing right but since you are going to be a father, I did it.
Arnav comes to the same place to meet the client. He goes inside after parking the car. Khushi goes to the washroom. Shyam tampers Arnav's car with an intention to cause his accident. Khushi sees that and decides to foil Shyam's plan. She comes out and said, "Bye, I have given you the full amount. Pay everything once and for all."
She takes Arnav's car and is on the way to her place. Arnav closes the deal with the client and sees Khushi's car.
Suddenly Arnav gets the call from the traffic police about Khushi's accident. Arnav comes to that spot and admits Khushi to the hospital.
Arnav is tensed about Khushi's condition. He asks the doctor, "How is Khushi?"
Doctor: The operation is successful but she is in the critical condition. Till she gains her consciousness nothing can be predicted.
Arnav sits beside Khushi.
Two hours later, Khushi gains her consciousness.
Arnav is happy.
