I just thought we should deviate a bit from all the depressing thoughts fighting each other in our head and instead post something cute in the honor of our favorite on-screen couple who are going to face a very unfortunate untimely death soon. Thank you Roshni, for reminding us to think of some of those love stories. Let's post some eternal love stories and relate it to SV's love story.

Ram and Sita

If we really think about Ramayan it could actually be considered as one of the greatest love stories. It is an epic. We saw how depressed Ram got when Sita was taken away from him. In the era when it was considered prestigious for kings to have many wives Ram was so in love and devoted to Sita, he did not re-marry even after she was gone. Yes, he killed Ravan for many other reasons but in all literal sense, it was actually to gain back Sita. Similarly, Sita was soo deeply devoted to Ram that his thoughts never ever left her mind even when she was in the gold built Lanka. Their love story had a very tragic ending as well. For most part of their lives they had to bear separation. First, Ravan took her away, then she was sent away to the forest by Ram and lastly, she buried herself in ground. Despite this, theirs is supposed to be the most pious of all love stories.

It is similar in case with SV's love story. V never had the chance to actually be treated as a wife. First, S was sick, then he did not recognize her and lastly, she was sent away to Banaras by him. Finally, when they are together, they will both have a tragic end and yet their love story is just as pious and to me in some ways it could be considered eternal.

Please share some other great love stories. I'll post some more later. Hopefully, it will take our mind away from the depressing thoughts.

Yes Neha...SV's love story is definetly inspired from Ramayan....I mean from the beginning they've compared them to Ram-Sita...so makes sense..

Another one could be

Romeo and Juliet

Both born in different family background's. yet Love bonds the two together, against the will of nature always, they fought with life. Their own families were their enemy..other things just added to the misery. Their love story was one proof of true eternal love...they loved each other till the last breath...and left this world together...

Same for SV....from different backgrounds, only love is common. Family (Sindoora) being their biggest enemies...they always fought against everything and their love cannot be explained in words. With them also, they will leave this world together...be united by death if not by life..

Romeo and Juliet...is....too trivial I think for something like this....for some reason...I'm too cynical about it...it wasn't real love...they both were just re-bounding... 😕

Laila and Majnu

I am sure most of us know the story if we have seen the movie, Aaja Nachle. However, for those of us who have not seen it. Laila and Majnu were very much in love since childhood and he used to write poems about his love to her. Her father, however, disapproved of this and got her married to another man. Every time Majnu experienced pain so did Laila and vice versa. Finally, Laila could not bear the separation and died with an illness. A few days later Majnu was found dead. They were two bodies with one soul. The other died as soon as one passed away.

We have seen time and again in BMTD how S feels pain when V is hurt (burn sequences) and V always knows when something horrible is happening with S (Banaras accident). Also, V gave S a new breath of life when he was declared dead. They are one soul with two bodies. One can definitely not survive without the other.

Meera, Romeo and Juliet was a rebound but it is also considered to be one of the greatest love stories ever. Kabhi kabhi ek mulakat hi kaafi hoti hai aur kabhi kabhi puri zindagi lag jaati hai. Their love story was an ek mulakat type. They gave up lives for each other just like SV would.

Neha, that was beautiful sweetie! I couldn't agree any more. SV's love story is eternal that exudes innocence and purity.

What is most pleasing and beautiful is the fact that they have never hooked up with anyone else than each other, which is very rare to see on Indian Television today. Like you said, even in seperation, their hearts are interconnected, they hurt when the other hurts and laugh when the other laughs. They are essentially two bodies but one soul, two hearts but one beat. I like the example you put there of V infusing life into S when the doctor declared him dead. It is one of the best examples of their love. Their love was and is so strong that they pulled each other out of the claws of death and when death came, they swallowed into it together. They were defeated by death but their love triumphed and that is one thing which Sin won't be able to defeat -- one thing I can gloat over...😆😆 For some reason, your topic made me think of the song 'Hum hain isse pal yahaan..' from Kisna..

Keep smiling..

Love

Soni

Thanks Soni.. I would love it if you could maybe talk about some eternal love story and put it in your words since you are so brilliant with words.

I love the song you mentioned.. I am going to put down the lyrics for it since they are so apt in this situation:

Hum hai iss pal yahan, jaane ho kal kahan
Hum miley na miley, hum rahey na rahe
Rahengi sada yahan, pyaar ki yeh daastan
Sunegi sada jise, yeh zameen yeh aasman

Waiting to read about some great love stories from your side.

btw Meera...I said Romeo and Juliet because theirs is one og the greatest love stories....they couldn't live together so they found unity in death.....same will be with SV....they're gonna die for each other....

This also reminds of the movie "Ek Duje Ke Liye" they spoke different languages...yet their love wasn't hostage of just a language or their backgrounds.....Vidya was illiterate at one pt and didnt speak english while Sagar was used to using english in his regular convo's... yet the language of their love was higher thn anything else...in the movie also....the two lovers become one by death...and i guess tht will also be SV's fate...
