Ratan has some behaviour problems but it is how Ratan is. If we eliminate the immaturity from Ratan he will be more like Yash the matured one and all the crisp of the show will be gone. Yes, no one came to fill maang of Diya, not even Yash. It is our Ratan Saah who did that to save his friend whatever the reason was. And yes Poppinss, Ratan actually feels for Diya like no one else. but still I won't burn the letter issue.

Yes totally agree with you!!! Ratan feels very strongly for Diya... that is why when they fall in love it will be the marriage of their dreams and that is when everyone will get to see the other side of him... he is just going to need time to adjust to the gigantic change that has occured in his life

It is but natural for him to be all freaked out about this... he is trying to hold himself together but it's not easy for him... he loves Diya a lot but as his best friend and not anything else...( of course he's gonnna fall for her) ... He is going to be the fabulous loving husband that Diya always wished for...

I don't know why others are framing Ratan but I am framing Ratan cause of the bad character development, which is not actually Ratans fault also. Rohit Suchanti is doing great job and developed himself very much comparing to Sath NS, Warrior High, Pyar tune KK but the writers made Ratan look more like a rich spoiled brat. He looks more like Ratan not like Datahukum. In early episodes there were some things about him which changed drastically when he took the responsibility of Diya's wedding. And there is also a thing that we actually never saw Ratan to take any responsibility.
I don't hate Ratan but I hate the writers because of the way they portrait ed Ratan . There were many was to make audience believe that he is irresponsible, careless, womanizer(btw Ratan always tells that he had many gf but even when he was with Tanvi he always talked about Diya 😆, this is not how a professional flatter flatters with girls right?)

Loved your post, disagree to some extent. Diya obliging and succumbing to her parents' wishes is kind of representative of our society. Especially in cities other than main metropolitans. Howsoever strong, successful, intelligent, educated a woman/girl is. man y times even in real life it can be seen she succumbs to pressure of either her in laws or parents in order to either marry or for marriage to be successful. Many working women leave their stable , secure jobs if their prospective in laws do not want her to have a job; and their parents have no objection to it. Many times, just to ease pressure of their parents, they succumb to the pressure of marriage. Knowingly jump into hell, because parents are too worried what will happen to their daughter without marriage, especially if she is 30 or 30plus.

Agree about other points, I wish CVs show Diya leaving Kesar Mehal for some time, taking a good job in another city. And then Ratan realises her importance. I'd love to see him like a puppy. 😆 Right now his immaturity levels are super annoying. Like literally, he is not the only one tired. The girl he married must have been awake for marriage related rituals and all for more hours than him. Poor Diya, feeling bad for her. You're right, she is going to continue the trend and keep Ratan ahead of her. Right now she is already in wife kinda mode, not arguing or screaming back with Ratan; and taking in every thing he is putting her through. Though I have to add, I agree Ratan does care for Diya, and he will always be with Diya when she needs him. He is kinda doing all this out of frustration and he is stil very young. I guess for few weeks we will have to put through his character, until it gradually develops and matures.

Thanks for liking the post ❤️.

Agree that most gals will succumb to parents pressure. But Diya is not any normal girl. She is shown as a CEO, a super achiever and a super woman. Is any CEO known to leave job etc due to MIL pressure? None to my best knowledge. 30 and CEO is achieved by very few people and even fewer women. So... you know where I come from 🤢🤢

But this marriage and sacrifice can happen only in the ITV world 😆😆.

Who am I to complain! I love DiRa and I wouldn't😉 be watching this show if I was worried about Logic 😉. Cant wait for some romance to start between the 2.

Today's episode I could see concern for Diya in Ratan's eyes. Love Nitya supporting Diya... and KM supports Ratan. There is some balance of views.

But... still wonder why Diya is being shown as the typical shy bride. I hope the makers do not make her react like a 20 something bride and keep her reactions close to her age and peheridari skills... incase they forgot lol. Felt disappointed with the dumb bahu avatar of Diya today. But sure had some good laughs too..

More power to Diya and a little more maturity to Ratan is all that I ask.

Not undermining Diya's achievements but Diya became CEO at age of 18 that was because of Mann singhs will not because of her caliber even though latter she proved her worth.

Are baba Diya is 30 but she got married for the first time😆 so i suppose she is as confused, lost as any newly forced wife would be...till now she is confused how to react in this given situation but ya due to her age and experience in life she will come back stronger sooner than any 20 something bride.

More power to Diya and a little more maturity to Ratan is all that I ask.

111192... ha I agree with what you say... but not all 18 year olds could successfully shoulder such kind of responsibility right? But Diya did it with flying colors. There is a difference between a dependent vs a confident and independent person marrying.

Also as a CEO and Peheredar she had to take many a tough decisions at the drop of the hat. So decision making will not be difficult for Diya.

Diya is a class apart. I am sure she will comeback stronger...

As for Ratan, I am totally ok with him committing mistakes. It is expected of someone his age. But they also need to give credence to his age and make the mistakes appropriate to his age. Eg. yesterday throwing jewelry all over the room, getting into a relationship he is not interested in, marrying a woman he is not interested in etc. (I get that this is the main plot but the scenario of getting into the main plot is pretty shoddy writing work) NOT the actual scenes but how they were executed... I do not know if any of you watch YUDKBH... I feel that is more well written and executed. I hope they change the dialogue writer for this show. Both shows are same PH and the hero of that show is what 17? Compare maturity levels hehe... So I blame the time slot, the PH and the writer not the actors 😆😆.

As I said... this is ITV show and I love DiRa chemistry... so no complaints. But plot wise... this is very weak. So the crib is more on the writing and execution and hope that improves. Hope I have conveyed what I am trying to tell without offending sentiments.

True but its a very emotional phase for her ...feeling of unwanted person(be it because of Abhay ditching her or Ratan's behavior towards her) coupled with every tom dick and harry taunting her for being older woman in the marriage can send any person into depression ...Diya is strong headed woman may be that is why she is still handling the situation calmly

I understand where you are coming from. But Diya was never the one who lived for herself. Even her career as CEO was not for herself. Everything she did for 12years was as a caretaker of Maan Singh and Ratan's property. For herself she never was shown to be having these kind of ambitions. If she had her priorities were always her relations, her promises and her duty. i guess, that is where the difference in Ratan and Diya lies. Ratan has been fortunate to live for himself. Diya on the other hand never learned to live for herself, have or follow her dreams. give a direction to her intelligence, on career front. All her life, she is living promises and respect to others, those she love. Not for herself. if she was the kind of CEO who had her career goals for herself, I am sure she would not have been like this,.

But this marriage and sacrifice can happen only in the ITV world 😆😆.

Yes, agree. But I myself know of a girl who is leaving her stable government job because her future in laws do not want her to work. I myself, cannot imagine doing this for anyone. But there are girls who do this, for the sake of their old and new families, howsoever independent we perceive them to be.

Who am I to complain! I love DiRa and I wouldn't😉 be watching this show if I was worried about Logic 😉. Cant wait for some romance to start between the 2.

Me too. That thought is what keeping me sane 😆

Maybe 'coz Diya maybe independent all these years,a tigress. May have boys as friends. but in respect of love interest and all, she never had any exposure, or experience. or maybe she never opened her mind to that thought? or maybe she is feeling too obligated and pressurised to do everything she can, for the sake of forever smile oon her father's face. Or to give her best shot to make this marriage work. or maybe she is feeling guilty that Ratan had to give up his freedom. Right now she is acting all traditional wifey.

More power to Diya and a little more maturity to Ratan is all that I ask.

Hope that happens and soon. And ratan starts acting maturely before Diya decides to leave. 😆
