We can relate to something or another in all movies that we watch. But then, there are some that actually offer a solace and sometimes reassure us, and even offer a solution, while undergoing personal struggles in life..

Do dooni chaar- there isn't a sense of great victory/success/achievement at the end of this film. But it does remind me that there is peace and joy to be found even in trying times if your near and dear ones are with you.

When I watched the film, I was going through tough times in my life. My future, my career, my reputation was at stake. My family was also not with me for my comfort. I felt really lonely at that time. But when I watched Queen, the movie was so feel-good, I forgot about all my problems for some days. It made me feel positive. I learned that sometimes, there is no solution for a problem, but one can always appreciate good things in life, even in difficult times.

Movies never help cope with internal struggles one might be facing.

It so happens that sometimes you identify with the character very strongly and that's about it. Don't think anyone was helped in their lifetime just by watching a goddamn movie, lol

Tamasha - The movie has so much depth that it really touches you. It makes you realise that you need to live your life by fulfilling your dreams. And not just pass through life like its a bad phase.

Also, there is one dialogue in the film Ek Mai aur Ek Tu in which Imran says you are so talented while I am so average. Bebo replies that being average is the best thing about you. Tum kuch bhi zada ya kam nahi karte, you are perfectly average!

This dialogue gave me some confidence at a time when I used to think I am an average student and best at nothing.

Especially when Shah says "Don't let the past take away joy from the present." Love that quote and said something similar to can't control future or the past but live the present, don't remember the exact quote but LOVE this movie
