Javed Akhtar with his lisp, pronounces words a different way sometimes and also he speaks English and Hindi in Urdu ishtyle😊.

Waise I think for recording lyricists are not required.

but most of the time lyricists r present during recording 2 make sure every thing goes smoothly. even some time they do minor changes during recording.

Yea, I've definitely noticed that lisp...Hehe, but I like the way he talks. He has a unique style...but obviously he would never mispronounce a sound...like mixing up "f" and "ph", "j" and "z", or "q" and "k"...

About lyricists not being required at recordings...I've heard that from other people too, and I think it sucks. Lyrics and diction are important too...in fact for some listeners, they might take preference over the music. I think the lyricist should be present to point out mistakes like the one in "Main Agar Kahoon"...

I think he was miffed with Vishal-Shekhar for changing lyrics and also adding Dard-E-Disco. Even otherwise I don't think lyricists would have the guts to correct singers.

I think that's just an unfounded rumor...and why would he be miffed about "Dard-E-Disco" when he wrote that one. Did you mean "Ajab Si"? Anyway, both JA and Vishal denied that there was any conflict. In fact, Vishal said JA was kind to let him write the song. The only reason that people were speculating that there was an issue was because JA didn't attend the music release, but as far as I'm concerned, there could have been many reasons for that. I find it hard to believe that the person who praised Prasoon Joshi to the sky in his review of TZP would be jealous of a music director who occasionally writes lyrics. And besides, V-S & JA are working together again for Bhootnath...

I agree that lyricist may not have the guts to correct singers, but if that really is is true, it's sad. Everyone involved in producing an album should be able to provide their input in order to improve the album.
