"Paida hote hi meri maa mujhe thoda thoda zeher deti thi"---What did he mean by saying this? And how did he come back alive from that poisonous water?

In old days it is general practice for some kings to take small portion of poison daily so that snake poison or any type of poison will not effect them
Alexander mother use to give him poison like medicine

It meant that his mother used to give him tiny portions of poison since he was a small child. With that, his body became immune to poison and that's how he could come out alive.

They used that trick - not only for snake poison - it saved them from the poison on war swords - if get hurt in wars.
Yes -they used to apply poison on edges of the battle swords/arrows etc...will kill ...opponent even in a small scratch...poison gets in blood and that's it.
