I guess CVs want to show Ratan's decision to marry diya as hasty decision like this decision of fasting , which was taken without proper thinking. At least Diya may think like this. She may feel that he will regret his decision to marry her.

By the headline itself you guys must have guessed already that my topic is for our Ratan sa aka Daatahukum!

Since few days he is behaving a bit OTT, especially from sagaai and pre sagaai moments where we saw him telling diya that she should choose new ring instead of the old fashioned one, inspite of knowing its given by her papa sa, preserved for years.
Fine. Happens. They wanted to show him act his age and till a point I could settle at that. Cool.

Then he forgot about the sagaai and got lost in the trip.
Firstly the whole framing of that scene was funny, being a king he is going on to the streets and selecting a random shop for his travels.
Lame.
But then the aftermath of that scene where he said sorry to sajjan singh and how cutely he made him smile made the whole situation balanced. Cool.

Now we saw yesterday's epic episode where he blamed every single person in the room for eating chappan bhogh in front of him while he was fasting, dude -_-
Okay he is 21 year old but who reacts like that?
I have never seen 21 year olds acting that way! Hell we all were 21 once. or some will be in future!
He had wine without thinking and after that he threw the thaal away!
Honestly I would have gotten a slap or a good beating for that. Annapurna ki izzat koni chore ne?

For the CV'S
There is a difference between showing him immature and showing him insensitive.
He studied in london for godsake, waha ki the laaj raakh lijo _/\_

even i was thinking the same... and yday agreed ratan was OTT.. the wine and hunger made him lose sense i guess.. i wish someone slaps some sense inot him than ignore his mistakes saying he is kid.. ufff tantrum prince ratan.. he threw the glasses thank god not food.. 😕

True! I a lot of us start working (or saving for further education) even before that. At least Indian kids are very serious about their careers by this time because this is make or break point where you are taking some tough calls for yourself. For a child with so many tragedies in life, he is too casual. 😕

Exactly! That scene stopped being fun the moment that happened. All Indian (desi) kids grow up with this respect the food concept. Even the most pampered ones among us get a tight slap (as you mentioned) If we disrespect food.

If he remembers what his dad used to do for his friends 12 years ago, he could not have forgotten this.

THIS! A child who lost his father seems to have no respect for anyone else's feelings towards their parent.

Yes this is the main reason behind all of the chaos created by him, unintentionally.
Because he is scared.
But yesterday's episode was more of glorifying how immature ratan is rather than showing how nervous or tensed he is about that letter.
Him fasting was his decision totally, it was not affecting her marriage, he could have refused but fine he did it, waha tak bhi theek tha but then that whole drama afterwards was uncalled for. It was depicting that what exactly ratan wants? Bhai usko shaadi karne de shaanti se, tere kya problem hai Lol
Aur ek glass wine peene ke baad itna nasha? 😆 Waaah cv's waaah!

ROFL for that line!

May be he is behaving like this because at back of his mind he has his fathers promise so he want to get diya married at any cost(of course his intentions are not bad) and thus in excitement/tension he is making one mistake after another.

To be honest, I just feel writers had that stupid glass of wine while writing some of his scenes and are screwing up :-D

Remember there was a episode where Ratan and Diya went on a date and Ratan ordered wine? That means he knows what wine tastes like. Another episode he also said to Diya that he smokes and drinks also. After Drinking wine he was like...WINE?

Btw the color of wine doesn't looks like wine. I have never seen wine, so any one knows the wine they showed was actually original wine's color or not?

It did look like a white wine and rest of the drinks actually looked like juices. Why was the event planner not keeping alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks separate?

Even if we assume that they were cocktails, you do not serve them the way they were served. And is it just me or anyone else feel that the wedding planner trying to feed the food to him (I mean literally feed) was a bit weird.

Professionalism, anyone?
