Ishita was turning her side feeling restless not able to sleep. Whenever she close her eyes all she can see was Raman proposing Shagun. She tried alot but couldn't sleep and finally got up feeling too restless. She wanted to cry aloud and ask god why he did so with her,but all she could do was sobbing silently. Sobbing on her fate that she can see her love going away from her but can't stop him. Can't even tell him how much she loves him.
Ishita -main kaise kahun aapko Raman, ki aap kya ho mere liye. Kaise bataun ki main mar jaaungi aapke bina. Please mujhe chod kar mat jaiye, u r my breath, I can't breath without u. She thought and got off the bed feeling so low about her disability.
She was standing near the window thinking how Murugan has punished her that she is not able to even express her feelings for him. Tears were flowing continuously from her eyes when she saw Raman coming with bouquet of white lilies and chocolates. He parked his bike and came inside the building happily.
Ishita looked at him and thought-raman kitne khush lag rahe hai, he is not even bothered that he shouted on me aur unhe mujhe manana chahiye.ab unhe meri fikar kyun hogi after all he got the love of his life, his Shagun. Dekho naa sab kuch mera favourite laaye hai, lilies bhi mere favourite, chocolates bhi. Even shirt bhi mera favourite pehna hai, itna sab kuch mera favourite and he is doing all this for Shagun. Kyun raman Aap aisa kyun kar rahe hai, at least give her favourite to her, not mine. Kya pata Shagun ka bhi favourite yeh sab ho. Thik hi hai, after all he is hers not mine. Unke baare mein hi sochenge but mujhe itna bura kyun lag raha hai. I always knew that raman can never love me back, phir bhi mujhe itna bura kyun lag raha hai. She was thinking when she heard knock on her room's door.
Ishita didn't go thinking it must be amma, she will ask many questions and now she don't want to answer any. So she was just standing when the knock start getting louder.
She got irritated and went to open. She opened the door angrily and got shocked seeing raman standing there. He hugged her tight and said -sorry bachcha, really sorry ,I shouted on u. Sorry sorry sorry. Bahut saara sorry babu, please forgive me, please forgive me, my bachcha. He was go on saying hugging her tight while ishita just closed her eyes feeling his soft touch.
That's when she remember how he was proposing Shagun. She broke the hug remembering that and went to her bed signalling him to go.
Raman looked at her and thought -lagta hai bahut gussa hai, aise nahi manegi. Mujhe achcha se manana hoga. He thought and went to her. She was sitting on the bed while tears were flowing freely from her eyes.
He sat near to her on knees and said -sorry bachcha, I shouldn't have said those words to u. Par main kya karta, Main bahut darr gaya tha uss train ko tumhari taraf aata hua dekh kar. Aisa lagaa jaise ek pal mein meri zindagi, meri jaan koi mujhse chin lega, I was scared, scared to wits to loose u. Tumhe kuch ho jaane ke ehsaas se hi main apne hosh kho baitha and didn't realised what I said. Maine galti se tumhe woh kaha bachcha, I never intended to hurt u. Tujhe kaise hurt kar sakta hoon after all u r my baby. Mera chotu wala babu hai tu, how can I hurt u. He said cupping her face softly while she was just looking at him without blinking her eyes.
Raman wiped her tears with his thumb and said -mat ro bachcha, u know naa I can't see u crying. Please forgive me, see I brought it favourite chocolates and flowers for u. Isse kha le aur mujhe mitthi wali maafi de de. He said smiling showing his dimples while ishita look at the chocolates and lilies and asked, is it for her.
Raman -ofcourse, it's for u. Aur kis par itne paise kharch karta hoon main.
Ishita look at Raman and signalled him saying, on ur girlfriend.
Raman -meri girlfriend?? Meri kaun girlfriend hai??
Ishita signalled him saying, Shagun. It took him sometime to understand and when he understood, he said -kya, woh chipkali shaguniya meri girlfriend. Yeh kab hua.
Ishita signalled saying, he was proposing her.
Raman understood and said -arey woh, woh toh main truth or dare khel raha tha, aur usse propose karna was dare for me. Usse propose karne se pehle main suicide naa kar loon. Oh toh u saw that, aur tujhe lagaa that I love her, tu pagal hai kya, meri life mein sirf ek hi ladki hai aur woh hai meri chotu babu. Aur koi nahi hai, samjhi tu. Aur raman bhalla inn sab chakkeron mein padhta hi nahi hai. I don't want any girlfriend, I am happy with my babu. I love spending time with her, I love wrapping her in my arms and just hug her tight. Bahut tight, itna ki usse gudgudi hone lage and she start laughing hard. He said tickling her and she start laughing.
Raman -now that's like my girl. U know, u r the only girl about whom I feel everything in life, I am concerned about u, protective about u, tujhse bahut pyaar karta hoon aur tu jaan hai meri, samjhi, meri pagal madrasan. He said pinching her nose while she hugged him tightly happily, raman too smiled and hugged her back.
They hugged each other for long and finally he break the hug and said -achcha chal ab chocolate kha. He said opening the chocolate. He start feeding her and said -ab tu gussa nahi hai naa.
Ishita nodded in no.
Raman -thank god,i am really sorry that I scolded u like that, par that wasn't my fault. I was scared, aur waise gussa toh mujhe hona chahiye, ek toh tu mere liye ruki nahi aur dusra tu uss raste se kyun jaa rahi thi. Tujhe kuch ho jaata toh. Dekh babu, I don't like this, Itni carelessness achchi nahi. Now I am passing out, toh main tere saath har waqt nahi reh paaunga, so u have to take good care of urself. I don't want any problem for my babu. Ok. He said feeling her chocolate to which she just nodded happily.
Raman -achcha sunn, I am going to bring notes from Abhi's house, tu achche se rahio. Rona mat, aur padhai shuru kar de, tera bhi exam aane wala hai. OK. He said to which ishita just nodded.
Raman smiled and was going when ishita ran to him and hugged him again. Raman smiled and softly pecked her hair and then went leaving a smiling and blushing ishita behind. She took the flowers and hugged it right feeling happy that Raman loves her alot.
Ishita -ho sakta hai raman mujhse uss tareeke se pyaar naa karte ho jaisa main karti hoon but I am happy with whatever I am getting. Raman ki zindagi mein sirf mere liye jagah hai, kya pata kisi din main unki zindagi ban jaaun. She thought and smiled kissing the flowers.
Soon time started passing, Raman got indulge in his exams preparation while ishita too started preparing for her exams.soon Raman's exams got over and he start preparing for entrance exams while Ishita's exam was going on.
On night, Raman was sleeping when his phone rang. He picked it without seeing the number and said -hello.
He waited for sometime but no-one said anything.
Raman -kya yaar, Itni raat ko wrong number, saying so he was about to hung the call when he heard her sobbing. He got up at once and said -I am coming. Saying so he hung the call and went to iyers. He rang the bell and amma opened the door.
Amma -arey raman kanna, tum yahan, iss waqt. Sab thik hai naa.
Raman -haan aunty, ishita Kahan hai. She called me, kya hua.
Amma-ishu called u. Pata nahi, come inside. She said and both walked to ishita's room only to see her crying holding her notebook.
Amma-ishu kanna, what happened why u r crying. She said making ishita look at them.
Ishita got up and said sorry for disturbing them so late.
Raman -its OK, kya hua, why u r crying.
She showed him her notebook and signalled that she is not able to understand the equation. She is trying for long but can't solve a single question.
Raman -itni si baat ke liye koi rota hai, Main batata hoon, aunty u go and sleep. Main isse bata kar chal jaaunga.
Amma-ok, coffee peeoge.
Raman -no aunty, mujhe aadat hai. He said and settled beside ishita. He start solving the equations and said -pure saal kehta raha, padha karo toh nahi padha. Aur aaj exam ke Ek din pehle baithi ro rahi ho. How can u be so buddhu ishita. He said to which she made a baby face.
Raman -ok, koi nahi. I am telling u, kal achche se kar ke aana. OK.
Ishita nodded and he start teaching her.
After two hours, he finally completed all her equations and made her understand also. Both were so tired till the time he completed that ishita slept sitting on chair only. Raman was teaching her wheb her head fall on his shoulder making him realise that she slept.
Raman smiled seeing her and softly blow air on her face removing few strands of hair off her face. She stirred in her sleep and hide in him. He happily wrapped his arms around her and said pecking her hair softly -meri babu, meri jaan.i love u so much, mera bachcha, rone lagta hai. He said and smiled again feeling contented having her in his arms.
He admired her for sometime and then picked her in his arms. He took her to her bed and made her sleep comfortably while he went to his house after caressing her cheek lovingly.
