Hi guys, I'm Ranjana :) I happened to watch the beautiful promos of the show and was intrigued by them. Could someone tell me what the story is about?

It's a love hate, revenge story between two people.

You will be entertained with every emotion possible.

The leads and every actor have put in a year of hard work, hand combat training, sword fighting, horse riding etc.

This is a larger than life serial.

And as the tag liner says it's history and a mystery

So to know the story please do watch serial.

Well there was film made on film adequate on 1943, but very few are aware about that film storyline so it will be interesting to watch how this makers craft the show .

I did read the story of the old Hindi movie some days ago. Yeah, it would be interesting to see how similar or different the show's story is going to be, though I sincerely hope the ending will not be the same.

Well, this is the gist of what I gathered after going through the storyline given by 2-3 sites.

In the movie, Prithvi Vallabh is captured by Tailap and imprisoned. Tailap's sister, Mrinalvati is a widow and has given up on all the pleasures of life. She hates Prithvi Vallabh and keeps trying to humiliate/hurt him. But Prithvi Vallabh is a calm and confident man, and he tries to convince her to give love a chance. She finally succumbs to his charms and falls in love in him. They decide to elope from the palace. Tailap find out about their plans, and he has Prithvi Vallabh trampled to death by an elephant.
