I also want Narottam to be the heir. The young boy has suffered a lot since he was a baby. He is Baldev's eldest child and Baldev behaves as if he was himself responsible for being born. He hadn't submitted an application to him and it was Baldev's problem that he hadn't married his mother. Children can never be legitimate or illegetimate, children are children and they deserve love and affection.
In Narottam's case, I am not even talking about love and affection, his basic human rights are continuously violated. He is a victim of domestic violence. Remember how he was lascerated, made to continuously dance by the brute Avdoot and slapped by Satrupa off and on, and Satrupa even threatened to murder him and dispose his dead body somewhere. Even his own mother used to subject him to physical punishments, which is an offence. He deserves a compensation for all that he has gone through.

Bhoomi what really confounds me about Narottam is how his upbringing hasn't destroyed him. Anyone who has been raised in such an abusive atmosphere would come out demented, broken, psychotic, and probably destructive in nature. They wouldn't be able to feel love, pain, heartbreak, heartache, emotions, etc. They would be a psychopath. This is the type of person who would probably go on to be a serial killer, get arrested, and commit suicide by cop.

But look at Narottam. Yes he has those tendencies to hurt others. He knew about Vatsalya's death. He hated Vatsalya with all his heart. He was fine with trying to hurt Anami at the beginning. But he changed over time. Anami, Poonam, Ladoo, and even Satrupa changed him. Sudha's psycho behaviour changed him.

Narottam has been hurt a lot, but he has also had a long journey in a short period of time. Cute-over-Hot and Simran I would have loved to see more of this journey as well, but I'm happy with what we've seen of him because his journey has been one of the most well-thought-out, realistic, and emotional journeys ever.

Hey then Sudha had escaped from Asylum and came to LM. Gayatri just helped the hospital staff to take her back to the hospital. I am not saying Gayatri might not have wronged Sudha but that situation was not that.

Yes, but remember how Sudha asked Baldev to look at her and say that he never promised to marry her, he looked away. And remember his audacity to say, I just lived with you, I never promised to marry you. I am also not saying Sudha is or was a saint, but Baldev was a big culprit and Gayatri and her husband trying to cover up their son's wrongs.
And baldev said that she wants Narottam to get my name. If the child is his, then shouldn't the name too be his?He might deprive him of his property, but not of his rights as his son.He just labelled him illegitimate and Sudha and unwed mother and washed their hands off the affair.
Sudha is a very brutal woman, but she was also wronged at a point.

Wonderful post. Very well said.

Narottam's attitude towards sudha had been changing for sometime now. And his brotherly feelings for Anami have also been visible.

If and when he completely denounces Sudha and goes against her then the story will turn and probably he'll be instrumental in ending Sudha's plotting and planning.

Waiting for Sudha's true face to be relive ales to all at LM
